If you actually want combine light diffusion you would probably have to find a way to combine the scenes so they can share the light diffusion. How you want to do that depends on if you're working with baked lighting or dynamic. They would also have to follow the rules of your viewport, and that sounds like some specific functionality you would have to code into the game engine itself. You have a very specific definition of a "hologram in a video game" that involves illumination by light diffusion exclusively. 3D bitmaps are a thing, too. I shouldn't drive until I sleep, I've almost gotten into a couple accidents. If I don't get any sleep tonight I'm taking an uber to work tomorrow. You get delusional after waking up from not enough sleep. This morning I thought I was just on a game show filled with clones of myself and feeling like there were just random mes walking around in the crowd. Being alive is pretty painful at those moments. Obviously I know they're not real. They're as real to me as they are to you, which is essentially the fact that you know that someone else thinks there are clones of myself walking around, and that they're real in that sense. I'll be at work and I'll walk into the back to get something. I'll forget what I was getting, who I was helping, how I got there, who I was just talking to. I have to walk out and look for context clues. That typically happens about... a lot. I wake up in 5 hours. I still don't have any reason to get any sleep. Nothing really bothers me. Uber is relatively cheap. |

They won't remember you. I never had any luck with any other local places. One bar actually pulled out a stack of resumes they had to go through to show me. I made the mistake of bothering with that for 3 years. Admittedly, I did get burnt out and lazy near the end and ended up applying at one place in a month. Apply to big places and apply to every position. Spoilers: My job is shit and yours will be too. |

I bought groceries the last 3 times. I pay $300 rent monthly. She came into my room and asked me for rent, after I already paid for it, probably hoping I would have forgotten. If I dare say anything about it, she'll literally go off on me for two hours and several hours over the next 3 days about how selfish I am. I have to foot the bill for her alcoholism because I drink two or three beers a night. If I buy my own she gets mad at me for not sharing, but it'll last a week, not a day. I hate living here. I made plans to move out with a coworker, but I don't trust him, because he's a total fucking irresponsible dumbass that everyone hates working with. He proves it time and time again, just today I stuck my neck out for him and had to finish 30 minutes worth of his "finished" work. Right after he saw me defend his ass. I may cut those plans. I just really, really don't like my mom at all. She's a mean manipulative and controlling person. I really just hate people. |

| Yellow 09/21/18 4:26:07 AM #1 | So I'm designing my own UI widget system for XNA (because I am the princess of good UI and I want something professional to put on my resume), and I compare my own taskbar to Windows'. Well, Windows' bottom of the screen taskbar (when set to auto-hide) has it so it expands when you hover over the drawn rectangle. The lazy part is, they didn't bother to make the rectangle transparent when it was 1 pixel high, and they never made it go away completely, because then you would never be able to hover over the rectangle. The result is that the bottom of your monitor constantly has a 1 pixel high 'thing' wasting space. Also, the Windows bar moves at 30 fps despite Windows apps moving at what's probably a fixed 60 (still not good enough, should be uncapped). The Windows bar moves linearly while most modern platforms have adopted smooth sin wave movement. It has no color interpolation. This is actually why people use Apple, there is a large group of people who literally only care about user interface. I call those people Apple users. Here's my UI system atm, already much better than Windows'. Only a taskbar (with nothing) is shown. It uses 14 custom classes. |
