She drinks and smokes $25 worth in a day.

She's made me pay for most of it.

She doesn't even have enough money left over to buy food for the three kids living here. I bought groceries the last 3 times.

I pay $300 rent monthly. She came into my room and asked me for rent, after I already paid for it, probably hoping I would have forgotten. If I dare say anything about it, she'll literally go off on me for two hours and several hours over the next 3 days about how selfish I am. I have to foot the bill for her alcoholism because I drink two or three beers a night. If I buy my own she gets mad at me for not sharing, but it'll last a week, not a day.

I hate living here. I made plans to move out with a coworker, but I don't trust him, because he's a total fucking irresponsible dumbass that everyone hates working with. He proves it time and time again, just today I stuck my neck out for him and had to finish 30 minutes worth of his "finished" work. Right after he saw me defend his ass. I may cut those plans.

I just really, really don't like my mom at all. She's a mean manipulative and controlling person. I really just hate people.

I'm assuming that the three kids are siblings? Are any of them old enough to work and get an apartment with you?

I have a few questions and maybe suggestions. Also, I am curious if any of the siblings are old enough to move out, as well. But why did you make plans with this guy if he was that irresponsible? Unless he is also instead of only a co-worker. Then it makes more sense. Is there anyone else that you could move out with, like a close friend? Another question is does the irresponsible guy already have a place and you're just moving in? Or are you guys going to look for a place together? Because if it's the latter, you could always take responsibility or the bills and make him pay you? If it's the former, then it might not be so bad considering he hasn't lost the place yet...

No, my brother is 16. He doesn't want a job either. My older sister moved out with her two friends... without me, despite her knowing how much I hate it here. >_>

I'm going to keep track of the money I give her, write it all down, not eat any food she buys, not drink any alcohol she buys. I'm still going to end up buying the kids food regardless because I don't want them to be hungry, and apparently that's not high on her priorities.

Make her buy them food unless she agrees to let you claim them as dependents on your taxes

If she cant afford to get food then she should qualify for food stamps

This isn't the best place for looking for advice, your problem can get bigger if you don't take the right decisions, most people here aren't experts of this kind of issues, ultimately a bad advice can get worse your situation. I highly recommend you to get professional help, consult a psychologist, a social worker or another place that help with familiar problems. Don't think it too much, just do it.

Where abouts do you live? I bet I can find a room for rent somewhere near you for $400 or less (unless your in a major city). Quite likely that includes utilities and internet as well. No reason to live in a situation like that.

Best to live with friends of course, but just to get out of a bad situation, grab any old place you can. Heck you can often do AB&B's for a month at around $600 (20$ a day), for a monthly price...and you could do that for less then a month till you find somewhere.

And if your working min wage will let you easily pay that just about anywhere in the US at this point, and still have money left over for food. If your drinking, you must be 21 as well, so yeah, no reason for you to kick it with a parental figure.
