Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of great stuff from the graphic novel that they missed, but the ending was so much better in the film. Made much more sense, felt more fitting with the tone of the story.

I think Shenmue is worth a shout. It never got as popular as some of the games on the list, but it was definitely influential in terms of the scope of the game, the details and the way the world changed and grew, but it was also the first game with a budget of the scale it had (estimated around $50-80m back in 1998 iirc). Not to mention it can probably be attributed as popularising QTEs.

The only real answer.

You know, I hadn't even thought of that. I must admit, I really enjoyed that game...HOWEVER, there weren't enough DCs in circulation for many people to have played the game, plus, it didn't seem to influence future games much. I can only think of one Shenmue style game (other than Shenmue 2, obviously), and that's Heavy Rain.

Maybe none have done that kind of day-to-day stuff like that, but I was talking more in terms of the world itself and the way that it didn't feel like you were the only real person in it. You can speak to pretty much everyone, everyone went to certain places at certain times did certain things, certain places opened an closed at different times, there was in game seasons and people changed their clothing and habits.

It was, at least my knowledge the first (or at least first somewhat successful) game to offer most of these features, let alone all combined in such a detailed way. Even if it wasn't a record breaking commercial hit, it was pretty successful critically and there's been a wealth of games that have utilised a variety of those feature either individually or combined.

And failing all of that, as I said, it's at the very least a massive influence due to the Quick Time Events. Ever since Shenmue (which I'dargue is still the only game to do them right) they've been prevalent in games.

Basically you want to get a tv that's got HDR10. It's the top spec and gives the best quality picture. A non HDR or HDR8 or lower 4K tv will still look pretty good, but with the prices drops 4K HDR10 has seen the past year, it's like buying a 720p tv when you could get a good model 1080p for not much more 5 years ago.

Pretty sure he'll get a post credits scene and he's supposed to be a big part of Suicide Squad 2. And AFAIK DC have have been making some efforts to make him more of a questionable anti-hero than an absolute villain, hence why he's getting a solo movie after all this.

Pretty much. 5'5 is p short, but it's only like 3-6 inches shorter than most avgs across the world. Whereas 7'5 is pretty much a foot and a half taller than any nations avg height.

A better question would be 5'5 v 6'3 or 4'3 vs 7'5.

Very rarely see a Jaguar, new or old, being driven well. The avg age of a Jag driver must be 70 and you get these big modern ones with massive engines trundling along in the middle lane of the motorway, with their ancient driver squinting over the steering wheel.

The positions of the characters I don't mind. Kylo is obviously on the far right and slightly more obvious for the red saber to not be too jarring. Same with Luke not being dead centre and having to work characters around his saber.

They're also probably used using stock images of the characters and arranging them in the most appeasing way possible. Not like you're gonna get Portman to pose for pics for a new poster.

That said, Chewwie and C3PO missing, as well as Finn and Poe, is a bit weird. Chewbacca has played a larger role than both Leia and Luke in the ST, so if your at least not gonna include him in the OT section (and he 100% should be), he should at least be included there.

At uni, I was feeling a bit ill, so opted against going out drinking that night. Girl I was friends with, decided last minute that she was going to stay in to keep me company. We have a few drinks and decide to watch a film.

She suggests we watch a film and then chooses a horror film (I think it was Sunshine). Me, being completely oblivious overrules her and opts for This Is England, a brutal and harrowing drama about subculture and racism in the 80s.

You can guess that nothing happened. Managed to hook up with her a year or so later and asked her in the morning about that night and she confirmed that she was intending on sleeping with me, but the film 100% killed the mood.

I feel like it's the complete opposite. The prequels were a toy advert, a bad political and war film and a kind of Star Warsy young adult adventure.

Whilst I don't think they're perfect, the two new sequels feel a lot more aligned in terms of tone, plot, characters etc to the OT.

In Britain there were 3.26 homicides involving a sharp instrument per million people in the year from April 2016 to March 2017.

It'shilarious how Americans claim to be less of a police state or more 'free that other countries, when they statistically have a lower social mobility, less freedom of press, less access to healthcare (despite paying more per capita in the govt alone) and higher murder rates than any other western nation. I don't know. Sucks though I took pride in my almost 800 score :(

I think it's more because you're no longer paying something off, so there's less proof you're capable of taking out a loan etc and paying it off.

It's a bit of a scam imo, in order to promote people having debt.

They should be, but Americans have 110V power, whereas the UK (and most of the developed world) uses 240V. It means the time difference between stove top and electric kettle in America is pretty negligible, especially for a nation who don't traditionally drink tea.

He's a pretty good Joker IMO, it's just half of what made him good was cut from his Suicide Squad appearance.

He's supposed to be a post- Death in the Family Joker. His gold teeth and Damaged tattoo are supposed to be obnoxious reminders to Batman, after Bats nearly killed him by punching his face in. His smiley hand tattoo is there because he can no longer actually smile, not like he wants to at least.

I thought that was a cool touch and made the bizarre design choices make a lot of sense, just ruined by having 90% of his screen time cut.

Fur Fighters - just have great memories of this on the Dreamcast. Action, platforming, rescuing puppies and kittens, loads of puns and jokes and homages.

Enclave - dunno if anyone even knows this. It was a campy LotR-fantasy themed hack and slash, with the option to play the campaign with loads of characters and split between good and evil, which'd change the storyline, with loads of Easter eggs, unlocks, customisation etc. One of my favourite ever games. The company nearly went bust whilst making the sequel, before The Darkness released which boosted their sales, but they never made another Enclave.
