I had a female friend (well - we're still friends) who invited herself into my apartment one day, realized nothing was gonna happen, then left. No prior discussion of anything - we hadn't even kissed - but then that happens. I still don't know what exactly that was. (As in, was she testing me to see if I would do something? Or was she just playing her own hand and making it clear she wants something? Or...what?)

Iunno - does it count if I wasn't into her like that? 'Cause that's really what the problem was. I valued our friendship but I wasn't interested in taking it further.

Anyways, for me I'm still trying to figure out what I did to fuck up my chances with this girl I was seeing earlier this year. The absolute worst thing I have ever done was told this cute customer that asked my number at work "No" because I was 15 and totally believed in the rulebook, and that rulebook said "don't accept any gifts from a customer". I think that's why I'm still a virgin at 27, and deservingly so.

At uni, I was feeling a bit ill, so opted against going out drinking that night. Girl I was friends with, decided last minute that she was going to stay in to keep me company. We have a few drinks and decide to watch a film.

She suggests we watch a film and then chooses a horror film (I think it was Sunshine). Me, being completely oblivious overrules her and opts for This Is England, a brutal and harrowing drama about subculture and racism in the 80s.

You can guess that nothing happened. Managed to hook up with her a year or so later and asked her in the morning about that night and she confirmed that she was intending on sleeping with me, but the film 100% killed the mood.

I always say: talking to girls is the same as playing the lottery. Guess the correct random combination of words, and you win! Get one wrong, and you get nothing.

I once went on a date with a girl who accused me of psychoanalyzing her, and berated me about how could I possibly form human relationships with other people while doing that. This was in response to me saying she seemed interesting after she told me she was in art school, but also wanted to go to both nursing school and flight school.

Basically heard the end of a conversation. She was talking about how her friend posted on facebook she needs to get laid and the other one posted she drinks a lot
I didn't hear that.
I heard one of her friends was gonna get her drunk and another one said she hasn't got laid in a long time.
So last night I texteded her did u get drunk and laid? She said wtf and explained it to me.
The kicker is she said she rented some movies for us last but she said shit on it. I'd rather be single then have you think of me like that.
