When I got my launch Xbox 360 I was a teenager with no income so all I had was Quake 4 and some shitty Burger King promo games, so yeah, that BK game is the worst I've ever played.
Specifically, Sneak King was terrible.

It's hard to accept but what other people think about you should not matter to you, especially from people that don't mean anything to you. Everybody has embarrassing memories but I find the best way to deal with them is to have a sense of humor about it. I'm not sure what your traumatic memories are but you need to just accept that they happened and that is okay. You don't need to have many friends, just a couple of close dependable friendships. Yes, I do. They're all online friends. One girl I know from London, UK has experienced similar problems that I do and I'm thankful to have her as a friend. I've recently started playing Guild Wars. was able to connect to people on there as well.
Trying to connect with people in my city is useless though. I live in a rougher city. I don't want to be a part of the alcohol/drug culture you have to be a part of to be accepted here. I still can't help but get emotionally attached to people who just end up degrading and manipulating me.

No worries it all won't matter in the long run. Even before you die, the events of this day unless they were exceptionally rare, would fade. Even if you do something amazing every day, your level of amazing will raise, and you won't remember most days.

It's just the way it works.

More so as you get older, and then, eventually, you'll die and it'll all be gone.

So live for the day, do what you want, enjoy life and help those around you do the same. Don't worry if you don't do everything, just do what makes you happy.

I've been wasting the past 10 years of my life because I'm traumatized by how I've been treated over the years, now I'm just going nowhere in life, and many days I can't even focus on video games because traumatic memories keep looping in my head over and over.
The memories mostly involve being sen as a creep by others, probably because of my appearance and I'm not as masculine or social butterfly like other guys are. One memory is as early as 2 years ago, being compared to others and seen as a creep by a girl I worked with.
I think I'm too far gone, don't wanna interact with anyone, but at the same time, starved for friendship and affection.

I know online gaming addiction is a huge problem over there. Maybe if we're lucky we can have the South Korean government force Nexon to make MapleStory more affordable for us. :P
But, from quick research it seems Nexon moved their HQ from South Korea to Tokyo, Japan, so...couldn't that pose a problem? I dunno.

I stopped playing vanilla Maple like eight years ago or so, around the time the "cubes" came out. Those allowed you to reset your potential on your equips, which, if rolled properly, could get you ridiculous stats, like 3-lines of +12% (stat) PER LINE, so one equip could give you like +36% of your stat.

So, to answer the question, in Maple, if you didn't pay2win with your cubes, you wouldn't be able to come close to being invited to boss parties because your damage would be fucking terrible.

What amount of money are we talking for these cubes? I'd be okay with purchasing Karma Koin money as long as it's not a ridiculous amount. 10 years ago, $15 per month for an MMO was enough to do well at playing it, but nowadays I hear horror stories of people paying over $20 000 so that they can keep up and that is what scares me. :/

Do you have to pay thousands of dollars to succeed at those games, or are we talking just a small amount?

I started playing Guild Wars, and I've already found a guild that I chat with and I feel I've found a community that actually accepts me for once.

I lived that past few years of my life isolated and trying to glue myself to the single player games, with my favorites being JRPGs, adventure games, and action games. No matter how great those games are though there's always something missing. As I'm playing GW I'm finding that there is this basic social need being fulfilled that I can't actually get anywhere else.
I get the impression that people who dedicate their gaming time to single player games must get their social interaction needs from somewhere else. Human beings need that basic interaction with others or else life falls apart.
I think I'll lay off the games I usually play. I still want to finish games in the Yakuza and Persona series, and maybe replay the Shenmue games as remasters for Shenmue 3, other than that though, I almost feel like retiring from single player games altogether, eventually anyway.
