Being a gambling show, of course its going to get compared to the many other gambling series out there.

When it comes to the gambling itself, yes there's better. Though I am a fan of a bunch of the characters and I did enjoy the show as a whole.

While a lot of the tabloids are disappointed with current results, you also see some built in excuses being ready.

Mostly that the team is really young, so the superstar leaders aren't experienced enough. Its not great, but hey, every country makes rubbish excuses when they underperform.

Max potential France is Mendy and Sibide bombing down the wings, Kante protecting the real madrid and barcelona starting CBs, Pogba bringing his Juventus form, Griezmann playing like a top 3 player in the world, Mbappe and Dembele showing why they are worth over 100m under the age of 21.

All this led by veteran goalie Hugo Lloris, at full potential France is what destroyed Germany at the Euros but on steroids.

Deschamps has won a lot of trophies as a manager by being cautious, dude has done very well in many knockout competitions as well, it's just not that exciting to see.

I can never get a read on African teams.

Sometimes it feels like Algeria and Ghana are on the way up, they it turns out they were frauds and Nigeria and Senegal are the big bois, then it turns out that was wrong because Cameroon and Ivory Coast are actually the top African teams, then wait Egypt are the ones winning the African Cup.

Revolving door at the top and it always ends with them underperforming at the World Cup.

Though in terms of talent, we all know its there.

Nanoha S1 is fairly short and starts off as a generic magical girl show. Its not great.

With season 4 also being bad, the real secret is that there's more bad Nanoha than good Nanoha. But A's is just so good.

Yuzu are a p big deal in Japan, so this was a good get for your major arc's ED.

Not always a top performer, but sometimes shounen series just go on these unstoppable runs. I really did think One Piece was going to win that one year.

While a great show, I do have a small grudge going against this one, as I was all in on Monogatari.
