Yep, Metroid's an awesome series. Very few games in the series are straight up bad. They're a bit of a niche but if it snatches you...oh my God they're so good. Metroid Prime 1 is basically one of my outright favorites in the series. Can't wait to see something of Prime 4 (may be this E3!)

Here's an out-there wish:

- Full BC on Windows (all XB1 and previous gens titles)
- A true Banjo-Kazooie 3 (as their "take that" to outshine Yooka)

If those two things happen I can finally invest in a gaming rig. Or just get an XB1X. I think the PC rig would be a better investment though.

The problem, especially with regard to Google (Facebook is a different case entirely) is that there ISN'T clear evidence of bias. It's just the algorithms. Someone vandalized wikipedia, google queries wikipedia for related information, and the result was 2 things that didn't belong next to each other being there. It's the same issue as the "AdPocalypse" on Youtube, or when people memed on Ted Cruz by having his face appear as a result when you looked up the Zodiac Killer.

This is why I said google is screwed. At least with regard to their search engine, they AREN'T applying bias, but using algorithms that can be abused. It's not physically possible to replace those algorithms with human oversight, so Google is in the unenviable position of either having to dumb down their search engine or face a literal endless stream of litigation as more people find cases like this and claim Google is at fault.

Where I worked, plain meant just the meat and bun, with cheese if they want a cheeseburger. So if they said plain that's what we would do and if the customer got angry, well...we tell them that's what plain is for us and he'd have to clarify next time.

The new one is less flashy except for a couple bosses. Not as gory either. Still a great game though and recommended. As for 3, the intro is probably definitely one of the best parts of the game. Not to say it goes entirely downhill after that as it's still a lot of fun, but I can't recall anything else that's that cinematic.

The pictures of the detention center circulating the internet last week were taken in 2014 as part of reporting about the newly commissioned detention center. The outrage at the conditions is still justified, because you're letting kids sleep on the floor after taking them from their parents. But Donald Trump did not build that facility in 2014. Obama did.

The context of the earlier story and its juxtaposition of those images of the detention story created a new (false) story that went viral last weekend. Making people who had been previously unaware of the detention center believe this was entirely the work of the Trump Administration. People, including the original reported pushed back on it, but the story was too polarizing a headline and even mainstream news mistakenly commented on some of it, American news media can't help but chase ratings.

I ended up requesting vacation for the middle of June (and no it wasn't for E3, lol) so this will be perfect.

I can't wait to see what Nintendo has in store. I'm mostly hyped about Metroid Prime 4 and Smash Switch.
Edit: And lol at Bethesda's conference being called Skyrim. That's another thing too, I hope they announce a sequel to Doom 2016! It's been long enough.

Characters are removed likely based on priority and production constraints, but clone characters are just taking an existing model and editing it and changing some numbers. So the work is simple and additive there but with new characters the work is multiplicative since you have no idea how they'll work with the rest of the game yet. So clone characters are never going to be a reason why Ice Climbers or Wolf aren't in a Smash game.

True. I suppose clone characters are inevitable. I just really like Smash 4's roster and don't want any of that removed + add returning characters that didn't make it (like Ice Climbers and Wolf like you said) and new ones.

I mean if they have to remove characters (it's been that way for every Smash game except 64 to Melee) I'd rather it be the clones rather than one with a unique moveset. I'd prefer no removals though. That said with how many FE reps there are in Smash 4 I'd like if they could turn Lucina into a Marth alt costume and give that slot to another FE rep, like maybe an axe user since we have a lance user with Corrin.
