All three Nolan Batmans. TDK a 10, the other two at least a 9

First Avengers movie might be a 9, I love it
Infinity War
Civil War
Maybe Winter Soldier
Aaand I'm gonna throw out Spiderman 2 as well.
Also Logan

What does that change exactly?

Also I would be for reducing ET to 20 or 15m. 30 is a long time and I think the extra attrition is a reason why ET is sometimes conservative.

It's pretty hard to take a shit in a place and then leave it nicer than you found it.

It doesn't have to be anything big. Something as simple as lightly wiping off the seat would do it, for instance.

what if the seat is clean

do you go from stall to stall hoping to find an unclean seat so you can wipe it off

Maybe there's some soap on the side of sink or something

There's more than one way of achieving this

The amazing thing is I think this is almost the first time you can say this. I know it's always been true but this is the first time I saw all three of them play to their potential. Even exceeding my expectations, really - I've never seen Lukaku play as well as that. He was phenomenal.

Martinez not hedging his bets taking Lukaku off there. They're in trouble if they concede another - if it goes to ET, the lack of Lukaku as an outlet will just mean Brazil put on more and more pressure.

By far the best I've ever seen them. They're finally maximizing their potential.

Brazil's naivety in the first half helped but this might be the best performance I've seen at the tournament. It'd be shitty if Brazil won now tbh.

They're getting no luck centrally at the moment.

See look right there. Brazil's move breaks down on the edge with absolutely no danger and suddenly there was an enormous amount of space for Belgium to break into. Brazil tracked back but it was dicey.

Also - this is why you have games like Colombia/England

When you are facing a team with pace and quality on the counter it is so, so hard to recover. Brazil are just being picked off here and right now Belgium still look more likely to score despite Brazil's attacking. 3 at the back helps too.

Brazil have learned a few lessons and aren't as overwhelmed by the occasion as the semi last time, but they're still leaving themselves much too open on the counter, which is suicidal against Belgium when they have De Bruyne, Hazard etc.

They're more pragmatic and less absurd than they were 4 years ago but still a bit naive, tbh

Belgium are really clicking here. That Hazard first touch before playing in De bruyne was really good.

Kind of game that suits Martinez's football I suppose? This is as good as I've seen them, especially taking into account quality of opposition.

I've really enjoyed it

A few duds but you expect that in modern football with teams often being cagey. Maybe not quite as spectacular as 2014 but leagues better than 2010.

This game, for example, has been really good so far.

haha XIII you 've chilled out over the years but you still take things so personally sometimes (Portugal, Nadal, etc)

if France wins the world cup it'll almost certainly be at least partially because of Deschamps - football results are not some kind of divine karmic justice that reward the worthy, he'll have made it happen.

XIII_rocks posted...
That said, he has improved and learned and this France are starting to play at a higher level than in 2016, so if they win I guess he'll deserve it.

My point isn't that he's shit, it's that a) he shouldn't be rewarded for 2016 - FFF should have immediately fired him. Like before Portugal even lifted the trophy. b) France have an absurdly good line-up of talent and the semi-final will be the first game they've played this tournament where there isn't a clear gulf in the comparative ability of the players, so it's not particularly impressive yet. c) god they're boring (apart from against Argentina). This was not a good game. They have incredible pace and ability and we're being robbed of what could be the most exciting team of the century by his tactics.

I'm not being ridiculous for criticising Deschamps - to not criticise him is to be OK with France's failure to entertain. And that's absolutely fine if you value winning and pragmatism that highly. Certainly if I was a France fan and this football won us the WC, I could live with it. But as a neutral, it's shit. So screw him.

I know that. He's not terrible or anything, but the way he plays with this line-up of players is really disappointing.

And he must shoulder the responsibility for that Portugal debacle. No arguing around that one - he got it horribly wrong at the most important possible moment.
