| Doe 03/28/18 11:33:32 PM #13 | As I understand it, the presentation of the Nonary Games (that's the packaged trilogy right?) fucks up some really important plot aspects/secret mechanics of 999. So rather I recommend playing the actual DS release of 999. Virtue's Last Reward is one of the best visual novels ever made. Zero Time Dilemma has some really good ideas but fumbles with the execution and fails to connect plot threads from throughout the series into a cohesive story. Danganronpa is super anime, has a weird sort of almost date sim aspect to it where you can spend time with other characters, though it doesn't really impact the plot. Danganronpa 2 is really good. People say the third game is fantastic until the last 10%. Consider Phoenix Wright if you haven't played it --- |
