yes. losing about a pound a week after about 9 months of very slow gaining.

5'10 and 175 lbs atm. Hopefully will be content around 160 lbs.

Former fattie (220-ish) so I do have some loose skin, especially just below the belly button. Oh well.

almost nothing is healthy or unhealthy.

So long as you daily food intake gets you all the vitamins, minerals, and fiber you need along with decent macros, you're good. Empty calories are perfectly fine in context.

That said, oats are better than cheerios (more fiber, vitamins) and take about 120 seconds more to prepare. You seriously don't have 2 minutes? I've tried overnight m'self, and not a fan of the texture. Much prefer the effect that heat has.

Failing that "Quakers Oatmeal Squares" are about the same thing but in cereal form. They're sweeter than raw oats, but if you're the type to add in fruit/honey/sugar into oats anyways, it's about the same.

yeah. paying a small premium (in either literal money or time spent) in order for some uniqueness and sense of ownership is worth it. Or, spend the same amount of money to get more and better things (like newegg computer versus premades)

Back when I lived in the burbs I had a square foot garden. I never broke even on the crops I grew after the initial fixed costs and upkeep was a bitch, but fresh okra is just so amazing.

Used to be INTP but have floated towards INTJ and ISTP at various life stages.

We're given 8 official holidays -- New Year's Day, Memorial, 4th of July, Labor, Thurs/Fri of Thanksgiving, and Xmas eve+day.

Just celebrated 5 years with my fiance. But for the past few months the sex has dissipated and his sexual attraction towards me has hit effectively zero; what few times we have done stuff he wasn't really into it and did it out of relationship obligation.

Came to a head last friday night and I was a figurative ball of misery for most of the weekend. I want a partner, not a roommate. Now that all this is out in the open, finally, we'll be taking steps to (hopefully) make him want to sex me up in earnest, but we'll see what happens. I want it to work but these revelations are going to gnaw at me for a very long time and probably cause me to sabotage the whole thing and then call everything off (or, they won't work, and I'll still call it off.) I want to avoid self fulfilling prophecy but that's where I still am mentally.

Plus his stepfather (who was kinda a dick and he never cared for) died recently so he's one state over tending to family affairs so we can't resolve much until he's back, so this limbo combined with sexual frustration is unnerving. And all of my friends are his friends so I can't throw him completely under the bus, but did manage to get good and drunk last night with a mutual friend and proceeded to bitch and cry which was some welcome venting.

I think the data normalizes for education level, and rules out most other potential venues that are used to prove that the gender wage gap doesn't exist. It's an apples to apples comparison and the only potential explanations are literally culture and/or likelihood to live in an urban environment (with an average higher cost of living and paycheck.

I've always played it as a drinking game variant called "Presidents and Assholes"

It's a game of escalation. Whomever won the last trick plays first. Any pair will beat any single, and any triple will beat any pair. Otherwise numerical order. First person to dump all their cards wins the round, and becomes the new President. President then makes a new rule that everyone must follow (for example, must take a drink for every card you're about to play, or call philsov "your majesty" for the duration of the game. Failure to do so is a drink penalty), and also is allowed to dump two cards of choice onto the person to his right, aka, the asshole, who is forced to provide two cards in exchange iirc. Also the asshole is the drink bitch and must refresh drinks if need be over the course of the hand.

The only kicker is why the 2s are seen as a high cards, but assuming 3 is the low card then it's whatever..
