As one ought to do :) The gains come in time; no reason to start at your max -- general recommendation is to start when you struggle slightly. Buuuut since you're two months in that's a moot point. You can probably be more aggressive with your squat/dl progression (occasionally going to +10 inbetween successes) but whatever.

Still, great numbers so far. Keep it up :D

Ivysaur's is good enough. Not enough lower body for personal tastes (only squat or dl once per session? pah.) But not that different than SS with accessories so whatever and if this aligns with your goals then great. A lot of people get bogged down in routine ADHD but the important thing is to stick with it.

Edit: Yeah, if you're cutting it's going to make for less hypertrophy (still some strength gains) and the stalling plateaus will be hit much quicker. However, transitioning to intermediate because you stalled while cutting is folly so probably do another rotation or two of the stall-deload cycle because ~15 weeks of caloric deficiency is a wrench in the system.

After you've stalled for the third time, roughly.

As a newbie (and assuming you're getting good nutrition/sleep/etc) you will likely see progress every single workout (aka, daily progression). Be proactive in your routine -- if you successfully 3x5 benched at 135 lbs, make next session 140 lbs. If you didn't do 3x5 at 135, then next session remains at 3x5 and 135.

One stalls after they've failed to progress for 3 consecutive sessions. Once you stall, deload to about 80-85% of your previous working weight (~115lbs) and resume your previous incremental scheme of +5 lbs after every successful session. Odds are this time you'll blast through that 135 lb wall you hit previously.

At your third stall is when you're not longer getting enough muscle fatigue from this single exercise and are starting to shy away from daily progression. So you need to increase volume and aim for weekly progression with an intermediate workout that is about full body twice a week, but has more accessories and other lifts to give you the necessary workout for muscle growth and strength gains.

For most people this is about 6 months after starting their beginner program.

6 is solid but there's nothing "special" about it -- it's charm is just as easily replicated in 8/7/5 and those all do it better.

At the very start it's prudent to grind some levels.

The best final party is Rand/Katt/Nina, but at the endgame dungeon and full access to all 6 shaman all party members are viable.

Eventually you'll get the ability to establish your own town and bring in tenants to open various shops. There are 3 carpenters to choose from if/when you opt to save all the villagers in an event. Of them, I prefer the Treehouse dude the most because I can win some great gear which propels me through midgame (tiger sword, notably). The Normal house dude is what most people prefer since he enables stat boosting through grinding.

Unit order and formation play a big factor. Put the beefy ones in the front (often Ryu) and the squishies in the back. The more towards the front they are, the more physical damage they both give and receive.

Sierra Adventure games were terrible about that.

Police Quest, for example. Very early on in the game you're in your cop car. While there, you need to open up your own glove box to get some paperwork. Because a few hours later, you'll be called into court to testify on something. Those papers are you alibi, else it's game over.

And, no, you can't just walk out of court, pause it in game time, run out to your car and get it. Nope. You're on the stand and it's do or die.
