Well, we are Canadian, so it's more an observation from afar, but my uncle is crazy. He acted like this, before though. He openly talks about how Islam should be banned and all this other crazy stuff. His greatest hits include;
- Immigration should be banned.
- Muslims conspired with Hitler during WWII.
- Residential schools are exaggerated and were a great thing for the First Nation's people.
- Slavery was a blessing for the slaves.
- Global warming and evolution are conspiracies by a global cabal of scientists who want to disprove God for shits and giggles. (His exact words where, "if you take a watch, and smash it, and put it inside a jar, and seal the jar, and shake it, and the watch repairs itself, then I'll believe in evolution")
- The Bible is 100% historically accurate, unless something is veritably wrong, then it's a translation error.
- Homosexual marriage is an abomination and will destroy the fabric of family (basically, any argument used against interracial marriage in the 50's).
- He told me I should read more because I didn't believe his insane theories about Islam (despite the fact that I actually have a university degree in history and he is a farmer and a plumber).
- Christians are the most persecuted people on the entire planet and always have been.
The great irony is that he himself is a Dutch immigrant.

How do you tolerate his presence? Is he like like 70+ years old?

Belgium will crash and burn. Overrated

None of the big teams except Belgium, Uruguay, England and Croatia have had a smooth sailing in the World Cup. Although, Panama being in England and Belgium's group may have made the job a lot easier for both of those teams. Belgium has the talent in every department, so I hope they at the very least make it to the semi-finals.

Spain, Brazil, Portugal, France, Argentina and Germany have not been very impressive considering their talent, skill and experience.

I'm thinking of watching Poland and Senegal because of Lewandowski. Aside from Sadio Mane, Senegal doesn't really have anything going for it.

I can't watch the Uruguay and Egypt game because I have an exam that I have to prepare for. The Columbia and Japan game might be good, but IDK if Japan is worth watching >__> I do want to see Falcao and J. Rodriguez.

My experience (5 kids) says that this is correct. None of my children were exposed to gibberish, and all but the youngest (5 months, too early to tell) talked early.

That sounds logical tbh. Kids pick up pretty much everything after what their parents/guardians do or say.

The kids are 18 months and 5 months old. The baby doesn't require much entertainment, she's learning to crawl, so that can be interesting. The 18 month old is much more difficult. We suspect that she may be a genius. Everyone says that about their kid, but she talks in full sentences, speaks very clearly, and through use of flash cards, knows at least 20 colors, most of the basic geometric shapes, all of the letters, and can count to 20. She's difficult to watch, because when I'm feeding the baby, or otherwise busy, she gets into trouble. She has defeated five different types of baby gates, stacks items into makeshift stairs to get on top of things, etc. in addition to the normal toddler destruction.

To keep them busy, I use a combination of tv, tablets, books, flash cards, coloring books, music, and an obscene number of toys. I generally try to just keep them from burning down the house, in clean diapers/clothes, and fed.

Yeah kids are self-destructive little shits.

I don't have kids, but If I ever do I don't want them exposed too much with tablets and TV. I wonder how hard that will be to accomplish.

I find kids are generally smart if their parents are smart. My one niece is already showing signs of a person that's part of the 1% of intelligent kids. Her own mother (my sister) went to a global top 11 university with a full ride scholarship for example. Obviously going to a good university is not representative of one's intelligence, but in her case she definitely earned her spot.

The hate is overblown for sure. I honestly thing it's just one gigantic circlejerk at this point. I've never bought a single shark card, and earned all my money playing legitimately while also enjoying it. As for single-player DLC, it would have been nice but I lost interest when I had a bank account of $200 million+ for every character IIRC.

Anyways, I just hope RDR2 is at untouched, and 100% singleplayer. Leave all the scummy practices for multiplayer.
