| guffguy89 05/30/18 4:18:18 PM #124 | wow! what a redemption hit for Orlando Arcia. For those who don't know, the star brewers shortstop, Arcia, was surprisingly sent down to the minor leagues about a week ago due to a poor stretch of hitting he was going through. Many were shocked at the move, though I feel it was a gutsy call to send a slumping player down, no matter who it is. Well, the shortstop playing in his stead got injured last night, and so Arcia had to be called up again much sooner than the organization was expecting. They don't even start him today; he's on the bench. However, after losing the lead in the 7th off our usually indestructible bullpen, Arcia comes to bat for the first time since the demotion, with the lead run on 2nd, and smacks an rbi single into right field. Talk about a redemption shot. Games not over yet. But go brewers go! --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

Playing Persona 5 was a little overwhelming for me at first because there was a lot more places to go. I imagine if I played 5 first, then 4, 4 might seem more simplistic than it really is. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

| guffguy89 05/30/18 12:51:26 AM #2 | This show went downhill the moment Negan killed Glen and Abraham in the season 6 finale. The show was at an all time high at the time, and they just butchered it badly with these past few seasons. They turned a show about surviving zombies to a show about surviving people, with the occasional zombie showing up. Negan....the long awaited Negan....turned into, at least to many people, just a very annoying egomaniac who liked to go on long theatrical soliloquies. They opened the show so wide open with so many characters in so many settings that you lost connection with most of the characters. There simply wasn't enough time to develop most of the characters. Go back and watch a few episodes of the earlier seasons. The character development there is phenomenal. They traded that for a grandiose stage with an even more grandiose villain. One of my coworkers who loved the show has quit watching it already. I know a couple others personally who have stopped it as well. With Rick Grimes leaving, I can't see how it goes on. Maybe if Carl was still alive, he could try to step up and fill that void, but alas, he's dead. The Grimes family is the cornerstone of this show, and now with it gone, it's hard for me to see how Daryl is going to carry this thing. Scott Gimple ruined this series. I never liked him in interviews or on talking dead. He literally was given a golden goose and somehow still screwed it up. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

| guffguy89 05/26/18 12:20:54 AM #77 | That is exactly what I love about our manager, Craig Counsell. He has thrown the book out on typical bullpen management. Multi-inning saves from multiple pitchers? Actually pull a guy instead of leaving him out there to lose the game? He's not perfect, but he's been as close to common-sense management as I've seen out of a Brewers manager. The same goes for our GM. Cutting ties with streaky players who have been known to have long hitting droughts. Not afraid to send down poor performers. It's been fun watching them so far. --- Don't mind me. | guffguy89 05/25/18 11:37:54 PM #70 | Credit due though for getting to Knebel, our "official" closer, though we've been somewhat unorthodox at closing games this year. Though our real crown jewels in the pen are Hader and Jeffress. Nobody can score on those guys right now. Albers and Jennings make for very capable relief as well. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of this series pans out. Brewers just made a slew of roster moves including sending down Arcia and replacing backup catcher. I like the accountability with Arcia. A great defensive shortstop and clubhouse presence, but he was just having a rough go at the plate and needs some time in the minors to figure that out. --- Don't mind me. I was going to cancel it once the free offer ended but they offered me a deal where it came out to about $5 a month for 6 months. Considering how much I used the satellite radio, I decided to go for it. But I wouldn't pay much more than that, and will probably cancel it once promotional period ends. I guess I do technically qualify as paying for music streaming, though it's not even listed among the poll options. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

A day later I finally decided to watch a youtube video and got enough tips to beat her in my next sitting. One of the tricks that helped me that I don't hear mentioned a lot is to not use your rage in one go. Activate it to stun her, then deactivate it. You get more uses out of it. Also, use the rage resurrection stone. When she's down to her last bit of health, though, it's impossible to not get a little panicky. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

She was healthy all her life, and then in just a short span, she lost her appetite, was very weak and confused, and passed away shortly after. Apparently this is common with older cats.
