That guy who was supposed to keep tabs on him I guess was supposed to be some comedic hate my job kinda guy. I'll be honest, he got me laughing at first, but the joke gets old after a while. We get it, you think keeping tabs on the kid is annoying. His friend....do I even need to give a reason for why this guy is annoying? Ohhh maaan, you're spider mannn...sooo coool....let me gush about this the rest of the movie... And the bully. look. I understand bullies are an overplayed trope in many movies. But this bully was just way too over the top. I felt like I was watching a middle school movie, except all the characters were in high schoolers bodies. The plot line was interesting enough to stay tuned initially, but the characters and their awkwardness and general annoyance just ruined it for me and those watching. Maybe the movie really picks up in the second half or second third or however much time was left in the movie after we quit watching, but we just had no interest in continuing watching it (I watched this with two other people). I usually don't just lurk around and bash things other people like because, hey, we all have different opinions, and that's great. I was just so taken aback, after just seeing the movie for the first time myself, to see someone post a topic having just seen the movie themselves, and have the exact opposite reaction. --- Don't mind me. I just saw it as well for the first time last weekend and almost stopped watching it after 15 minutes in. The whole video diary opening was just super cringy. We stuck it out and the movie got slightly more watchable, but eventually, shortly after the DC elevator rescue, we just stopped watching. It was just too bad to continue watching. The main character was annoying. Very whiny. And his friend that finds out he's spiderman was even more annoying. The "bully" or whatever you want to call him was so over the top and ridiculous. I can't imagine anyone seriously considering this a top tier Marvel film. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

| guffguy89 05/08/18 9:56:41 PM #75 | Spoilers ahead. My one kind of complaint is the complete lack of any large group of characters that you can walk amongst/interact with. In Midgard, the humans are basically extinct in the area. In fact, you don't come across a single living human in the game, unless we are counting the Travelers as rogue human warriors, which I am not. In Alfheim, apparently the dark elves and light elves exist in droves. You spend the whole time killing the dark elves and when you win the war for the light elves, there is that scene of them entering the castle, but then when you come back later, you find that note on the floor about them all out "looking for their leader," so nobody's around. Niflheim and fire world have nobody in it, and while Helheim as a lot of lost souls, you can't interact with them at all. It was a very lonely journey at times. I kept on waiting to come across some kind of in tact village where people or some creatures lived, but never happened. Jottenheim was also a bit of a disappointment that you just got to see a few mountaintops.Though the hidden reveals done there made up for it. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

The final 5 minutes of the first quarter was the worst 5 minute stretch from a professional team that I've ever seen. Giannis choked. Horrible game from him.
