Well, it doesn't "break the story" in any other meaningful way, no, but it does maybe affect my perception of Kate.

Then again, it's also worth noting that I write novels and mine are always very heavily plot-driven rather than character-driven. Kate is very much a character-driven construct, given that so much of what you're talking about doesn't involve very much actively happening. There's the bullying, and then her exit from the story, and that's about it. OTOH, the conversations you can have with Kate do allow you to get to know her on a very deep level, and if that's the kind of experience you enjoy from a character, then it's absolutely justifiable to put her high on the list...it just didn't feel to me like this was that kind of list, when you've got Kirby, Luigi, and Squirtle in your top 10.

I played Life is Strange, deal with depression and have occasionally been suicidal, and I really didn't have that profound a connection to Kate at all. I'm kinda surprised she's that beloved. Like, she has some stuff happen to her, and then there's the potential suicide scene, and then she's just gone from the game.

Then again, I failed to save her, and although I'm not sure what I did wrong, I assumed from the way the plot had been written that this was something you were supposed to be unable to prevent considering Max can't rewind time there. It wasn't until I got to the end of the episode that I realized it could be a thing. Umm...at least Max took care of her rabbit?

Maybe I should replay the game and see what changes, because a number of the details darkx highlights are from what she does during recovery. That would require replaying the whole game, though, and I dunno if I'm up for that. The game just won't be the same on a second pass.

Not an add-on so much as a program you run concurrently in the background. It'll put an overlay over your game with info you choose, and it'll record your progress with each deck.

People liked the band after My Own Prison, but Human Clay was so commercialized and so widely overplayed that people really turned on them after that. They went from being popular to infamous, and never really were able to escape that label. There was a third album, but by then nobody was really interested. Plus Scott Stapp is a whiny little prick who drove his bandmates away.

Every day I play the game, the ladder is streaky in some variety. I played 3 mages out of 3 games last time I logged on. There are a decent number of jades on wild, but it's hardly the whole ladder. (Though I often do my part with my patented jade rogue.)

This was me for the longest time until I manually inputted every single action and paused to think strategy for everything.

I didn't do that, but I did control the mages and focus very heavily on CC. Forcefield and Crushing Prison to victory!

I did aggro mage with the brawl. Had a bunch of cheap burn cards. Won my first game by dropping 3 mana wyrms, 2 sorcerers apprentices, and spamming some spells. (Ironically the only spell I successfully cast was arcane explosion, so I won with pure minion damage.)

I did get a lucky draw, though. I only had 8 shadow reflections, and I drew 3 or 4 of them very early.

If you can get past Lothering and into the Mage's Tower, you should be somewhat good to go.

Lothering is where I am now (PC version). Little groups of bandits are kicking my fucking ass, even as a warrior, I just take so much damage and don't deal nearly enough.

What kind of warrior are you? Sword and board, DW, or 2H? Because if it's not the former, you might want to get Alistair to be doing that and drawing the heat off you. Also make sure you're using Morrigan effectively. I recommend controlling your mages directly and letting the warriors just use gambits, since they're much easier to set up. But if you do use an AI mage, make sure you take away their stupid spells -- Morrigan starts with a few.

The bandit group at the beginning shouldn't be an issue. For the rest of Lothering, move around the map slowly and you should be able to draw in small packs of enemies without getting overwhelmed. Not getting gangbanged by multiple groups is crucial to success.

Unlike the people above, I will concede that DA:O is not all that easy at the beginning. I do believe it gets easier, once you start to develop your party and figure out a grouping that works for you. If you can get past Lothering and into the Mage's Tower, you should be somewhat good to go.

Origins is easiest as a mage. Hands down. Mostly because it's a real challenge to get through the Tower of Ishal without knowing what you're doing. You can kinda fumble your way through it as a mage, but warriors and rogues struggle with the crappy circle mage who usually gets killed and IIRC he can't heal. Then you've got the ogre fight at the end, which is easy if you know the right way to micromanage it, but is extremely challenging otherwise.

Pizza Hut and Domino's are really similar in terms of the pizza. I prefer Pizza Hut. I'm not sure where people get off saying it's not real food -- there are small-time pizzerias around here with pizza virtually identical to pizza hut (but a bit better).

There are also pizzerias with brick oven pizza, with deep dish, with all varieties of other pizza. So yes, lumping local stores together is a cop-out of sorts, but even if you have a local place you can't stand, there's probably also a local place you really love. Therefore, it's simpler to just assume that you're going to reference the good local pizza rather than the bad.

Not interested in differentiating the last two since both are inedible. Quality is lacking on little Caesars but papa johns literally makes me sick. Something in their dough, it seems, since that extends to the breadsticks and such.
