It is a solid RPG, Ys is primarily about fast action and tense boss battles. It is a very good game, but if you go in wanting a world-spanning adventure with a sprawling story, you will probably be disappointed.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon An 8(ish) bit styled game that plays like a love letter to old school Castlevania games.

Golf Story A surprisingly fun and charming rpg revolving around golf. Even if you dislike golf games this has a fun and quirky appeal.

Celeste as others have mentioned, its a challenging platformer with a notably touching story and interesting characters.

If you havent played them on other consoles consider:
Hollow Knight fun stylized metroidvania

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical FreezeAnother challenging platformer

Zelda Hyrule Warriors Basically Dynasty Warriors but with a Zelda skin but still pretty fun if a little mindless at times.

Xenoblade 2 if you like action rpgs

Stardew ValleyAn indie devs take on Harvest Moon with a few added mechanics.

Also Bayonetta 2 was fantastic. Definitely play if you like hack and slash games like Devil May Cry

Word of warning: Xenoblade 2 is definitely not for people expecting an action RPG.

Odyssey and BotW are priorities, Do you care about games that are on PS4/PC as well? There is a lot of indies and multiplats that are really worth it on switch.

E3 in general was weak this year. I miss the bombastic revelations of games that are less than a year away. Instead we get floating titles for games that are 3-4 years out as the big reveals.

Definitely not Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3, But I am certainly going to be playing a ton of the games they did decide to show on switch. But I could play most of them already on PC (Hollow Knight, Wasteland 2, etc.)

That being said the new Fire Emblem they showed has me interested in the series again because it looks like they may be adding some depth to the tactics.

Doesn't matter what that guy thinks, really. The creator of the board game, which this game is directly based on, is working on the game. And the trailer matches the art for that.

And there are night shots in the trailer which everyone seems to be ignoring.

This. Cyberpunk the RPG has always been more punk than grit. You don't have to like it, but it isn't a shift or out of place for the IP.

The concept of a mimic being so authentic that it even mimics the doubt of whether it is a mimic or not was also very interesting to me. The director must have a thing for characters having identity crises.

The theme about cancer in the movie is super strong and clear. There not being a moral 'point' to the movie directly ties into that.

Also, it was a great step in the right direction for people who are supposedly hungry for diversity in film. It was a dominantly female cast who all played strong roles, but no one cared because it wasn't pandered to. The movie not treating the audience like idiots was also very enjoyable. I'm not sure I liked it as much as Ex Machina, but because they are such different movies I'd probably just put them on similar ground.

Scythe is legit Tokugawa represent, and that My Little Scythe trailer is hilarious and definitely comes off as a joke. But props to making accessible versions of complicated games for kids, just not sure why they didn't just abandon having Scythe in the title.

The demo of Octopath wasn't this way, but speaking of JRPG exclusives that do require strong planning, Shin Megami Tensei V is in development.
