Someone who hardly brings it up, is probably moderate to whatever spectrum they tend to align with. If someone jumps in every political thread, or has skewed views about thier opposing side, then they are probably radical/far wing.

I gloss over, or just don't even click on most political threads.

What constitutes celebration?

I had to work, but got paid time and a half for it. When I got off work, we went to mother-in-laws house to eat free food. Later that night, wife and I took our son to watch the town fireworks. I told a couple people "Happy 4th" via PSN.

This is literally (not gamefaqs literally, but actual literally) what got me to stop smoking. I couldn't smoke due to bronchitis for about 2 weeks. The physical/chemical craving for nicotine takes roughly that long to desipate. I took the oppurninity and didn't reignite nicotine addiction after my bronchitis spell.

Adversely, I still have mental cravings for smoking even though I quit over 10 years ago. Any time I see someone light up on TV, I crave that satisfying feeling. That aspect will probably never desist.

I'd advise you take advantage of this time, and allow the physical addiction to be expelled from your system, then kick the habit. You'll save health issues later, and a crap ton of money.

You start physically aging the instant you're conceived.

Not the same kind of aging. I'm talking about the point when you start to noticeably physically decline. The point where you start going down the other side of the plateau.

Depends on the person and their general health, and genetics can also play a huge part. People in their early 20s could be considered old, and showing signs of physical decline due to their lifestyle.

On the flip side of that, a person in their 50s or older could be in excellent health, showing little to no signs of decline, while aslo being more physically fit than most 20 year olds.

Personally, I don't consider someone old until they begin to exibit traits that are typical in elderly. Difficulty performing tasks that they could do in their youth, memory problems, sight/vision impairment, etc. This varies from person to person, but EVERYONE will eventually reach this point, if they don't die prematurely.

Are Asians just inheriently smarter than other races, or does this high expectation of them cause them to get their ass in gear, and strive for excellence?

No and no. They just tend to go to schools that are adequately funded with better teaches, more advanced courses, and better equipment.

I didn't know the details. I knew that I had a brother who died before I was born, and that he was shot in the heart by another brother. I knew that it was an accident, and I knew that it was a tragedy, but other than that... I just didn't know much. My sister disclosed the fine print to me over dinner Sunday afternoon. Her, her husband, one of her sons and myself all went out to eat at Cheddar's. I forget how the conversation came about, but we defintely didn't start the dinner with "hey, let's talk about our dead bro". The convo DEFINITELY killed the mood, and I think we all left the resturant depressed and kinda staring off into nothingness.

This happened years before I was born, and my sister just disclosed all the details to me, considering Sunday would have been his 46th birthday.

He and another sibling (2 year old and 3 year old) were playing in our parents bedroom, and the older one managed to climb to the top of the closet, using a chair and a box fan, and get a hold of the revolver that was up there. How he knew it was there, I am not sure. While this was happening, our mother was in the kitchen trying to discipline two other siblings (Teenage boys) for being delinquents, as they had been breaking into people's homes and stealing.

By this time, the two toddelers had the gun and were playing with it on the bed. They thought it was just a toy and didn't understand the concept of a deadly weapon. As they played with it, the younger one held the gun up against his chest, and older one pulled the trigger. A loud "POP" resounded thorought the home. My sister discribed the sound like a soda pop bottle exploding, and she thought that's what it was as she was walking up the stairs from the basment (she was 10 at the time).

Of course, everyone went to investigate the noise. When they entered the bedroom, Daniel (2 year old) was setting upright on the bed, and simply said "Oh, momma" as he reached for Mom. Our mother rushed to him, fearing what had happened, and noticed a spot of red on his chest. She urgently unzipped his onsie, and saw the red hole in his chest, right where his heart is. He said "Mommy" and then his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Our mom cried out "GOD! PLEASE DON'T LET MY BABY SUFFER!". Mom then had one of the delinquent boys (14, no license) rush her to the hospital, as she held the baby. Daniel was dead on arrival, probably died before they even got in the vehicle.

During all of this, police were called to the scene by some of the siblings who stayed behind (my sister being one of them). When the local sheriff arrived, he located the 3 year old, which everyone had forgotten about in all the commotion. He was hiding under the bed where he had just shot his brother. The 3 year old was scared and said to the sherrif "I'm gonna be in trouble. I'm gonna get a spanking because I just shot my brother". The cop could see that it was a tragic accident.

Our father was a trucker, so he wasn't home and wasn't even aware of what had just transpired. Red cross had to hunt him down off his route to tell him. Took them a day or two. He returned home immediatly, and my sister said that that was the first time she had ever seen him cry. He quit trucking after that event.

Our mother was messed up for a long time after the funeral, and had to be put on nerve pills.

Thoughts?

Not circular because we have proven the existence of virtual particles, these don't need a God at all.

Something not needing to be, doesn't make it not exist. Wtf? lol

Yes it is because if you come up with God then you have to come up with a cause for God and so. Where does it end? When you have a God with the rewards for worshiping him you like most?

We like to think that we are pure and upright individuals, but I'll be the first to admit that id probably be a monster if I had his power, especially if I was born with it.

That kind of power, like it or not, would go to your head. At first, you might start off light, like humiliating asshole in public. You know, people who deserved it. If you weren't careful, you might eventually move on from that, to something more nefarious.

I'm triggered in my sleep, and have nightmares about gay pride month and feminist rallies. Wake up in cold sweats. It's the deals deal!

Sounds unfun. I'm not guilty of it (to my knoweledge). I've never had women under me, tho, so maybe I just haven't had the opportunity to do so. I don't think I would, anyway. I've had tons of lady bosses, tho.
