Plenty of good jobs pay for relocation as well

The next town over has many more people, like 8,000 I think, that's where I was today. It's almost 40 minutes away from where I'm staying. Plus everyone else is doing perfectly fine finding dates, getting married, and having kids. I don't understand why I'm the exception.

Yes, I was born here and can't afford to move. My town has a population of 1,000 which sounds like plenty, but it's basically a retirement community in the mountains. Plus half those people are male, taken, or too old/young. With no where to actually meet anyone, I'm stuck.

I can't decide between 2 of them. I've had many, but the bee incident and car accident were both the worst.

I was about 6-7 years old, I was outside playing with a ball. My older brother comes over and takes the ball and walks out to an old dog house near the woods. I follow him and rolls the ball inside of it and tells me to get it. Once inside I realize it's actually got a huge nest of hornets inside, just above the entrance. They were obviously agitated, but weren't attacking. I became frightened and started crying while my brother was outside laughing. I asked him to go get help and saw his feet as he walked away. I thought I was somehow going to get out of this unharmed, y'know being a dumb kid and all. My brother had other plans, and just flipped the whole dog house over so the exit was on the ground. The last thing I remember is hearing a loud knock and it starting to tilt up. Luckily I don't remember actually being swarmed by hundreds of them. Apparently I was hospitalized for a while and very nearly didn't survive, I don't remember that either. I just know that feeling of being so close to the exit but unable to get away was awful.

Car accident, I was 9 for this one. It was the 4th of July and we had gone out to eat. My parents were in the front seats, I was in the middle back seat with my brother on my left(driver side) and my cousin on my right(a different cousin than the one I usually talk about). We're heading home and are going over a fairly steep hill. As we reached the very top of the hill, a vehicle appeared coming the opposite way, but in our lane. We were both going full speed(55) and there was no time to react. We had a head on collision with them. They had been out partying and drinking all night and thought they were ok to drive, but the driver fell asleep and swerved into our lane just as we came over the hill. I remember being flung forward and being caught by the seatbelt across my belly. Then I looked up to see my unconscious mom just slumped over in her seat. My dad was looking around in a daze. I looked at my brother and his head was busted open with a massive swollen knot from his forehead to down around his eye. I literally thought he was dead, and that his brain was oozing out. I hear my cousin start screaming next to me, and by now people are rushing over to get us out. Everyone was panicking over my brother, who was 12 at the time. He was airlifted away, and had a major concussion, and was temporarily blind after regaining consciousness. My dad and cousin were mostly unharmed, just some scrapes and bruises, and a few small fractures. My mom had a stroke though, she needed physical therapy to learn to walk again. Turns out I was the one who was injured the most, the seatbelt severed my intestines when it caught me, and impacted with my spine. I couldn't walk then, and I went untreated by crapoy doctors, and was even left on the side of the road by the paramedics... Very long story short, those events were very horrific to see. I think I was in shock at the time, so it didn't really trigger the horror it should have. I needed therapy to learn to walk again too, me and my mom went in together for that.
I think the scariest part of this, was thinking that both my mom and brother were dead, and that I'd be left alone with my father. I was already thinking of ways to end my life if that turned out yo be the case, luckily we all survived, do did everyone in the ither vehicle.

I don't like the self check out. I always go for one with a cashier despite being shy and having anxiety issues. The self check out here always has a "guard" that stands there and watches you scan your items and help fix any problems that might happen. I just can't stand to be stared at/watched like that, I'd rather have a small awkward conversation with the cashier.

@KogaSteelfang - The obvious answer is that I'm jealous of how good-looking you are. Like JMPZero and MegaTech, you're one of the CEhunks. I'm also jealous of how people seem to care about you. In your 'Do you like' topic and a few others, when you're mentioned there are always people supporting you and saying they like you. When you left for a while, several people noticed and wondered where you'd gone and if you were okay. (Welcome back, by the way.) How could I not be jealous of that? If I leave tomorrow I'll fade away gracefully without leaving so much as a ripple. Being missed is something special, I think.

Yes, but there's some I miss a lot. My dog Oreo was stolen out of my yard around the time I began posting here. He was a gift from my dad for my 21st birthday, and I loved that dog. It was pretty much the only birthday gift I've ever gotten, and the only gift my dad ever gave, plus he was just awesome. I hope whoever took him at least gave him a good home, that's what I worry about most when I think of him. He'd be over 13 years old now, so if he's still alive he'll be old, I doubt he'd remember me anyway.

Then there's the puppies he had with my mom's dog, I managed to keep 2 of them myself. I still have the one. She's the dog in my Facebook profile for the few users who added me. Her brother though, he was precious. One of the best dogs I've ever had, smart and adorable, and so incredibly friendly. Everyone loved him, even complete strangers. But he began sneaking off across the road to the factory located nearby, everyone there would share their breakfast with him every morning. Then one day one the workers accidentally ran him over on the way to work at that same factory. He stopped by that evening to apologize and he was crying, and I was crying, he said a lot of people there were upset that he wouldn't show up for breakfast any more. I miss him so much, but I have his sister spoiled rotten.

I'm a fan of Heimdal having the soul stone, but I saw a video explaining why it makes more sense to be in Wakanda.

The meteor likely contains the soul stone, and it's power is what caused the vibranium to infect the land and alter the plants. There's no other mention ever of vibranium being able to alter biological life like that.

Then there's the afterlife stuff. It's the soul stone, it affects the souls. It could easily allow the living and dead to communicate, and it's done so by taking the vibranium infused elixir stuff.

Finally, apparently the soul stone can create pocket dimensions. Which is exactly what the after life place looked like. Even the US scene there was set to the wakandan backdrop. Like it moved his memories into a place already designed fir meeting the souls of the departed, some kind of pocket hidden in wakanda itself.

I've always been honest about it though. It's not like I'm doing it for entertainment, sometimes I need to know that I matter, that someone cares.
