She was very homely to say the least, nothing really going for her in the looks department at all. I liked her personality though. Anyways, the time finally comes and it's a now or never moment. So I go up to her and start to ask, but she cuts me off mid sentence. She tells me that she literally just started dating someone, like 5 minutes earlier. >_> I think she's just letting me down easy, so I drop it and move on even though it was humiliating. Later that day though, she was making out with the guy she said she was with and they actually did start dating then. I guess it was bad timing on my part. Also, she ended up pregnant a few months later. Then there was a lady from okcupid. She was quite a bit overweight, but she had such a cute face and her profile was interesting, so I messaged her saying I found her job interesting and asking more about it. She never responded, but for like 3 months I was getting constant notifications that she had viewed my profile. Like 3-4 times a day for months. Then I saw her on tinder and figured we wouldn't match, but I swiped anyway, and we actually did match. That means she swiped on me too, so I think I have another shot. Nope, same story. Message her asking if we could talk to get to know each other. No response. So I message her a final time saying I wish her the best and I hope she finds what she's looking for, and unmatched her. The final nail in the coffin was another okcupid woman. I've told this story a lot, but this lady was not much to look at, but she had a ton of the same interests as I did. Her profile said she wanted friends and I needed a friend(a female friend would've been very handy). We match, talk a bit. She manages to track me down by showing my pictures to everyone she knows until someone tells her who I am. She finds out where I work, where I live, all this personal stuff I wasn't ready for her to know yet. All the while she's telling me I'm not good enough for her, that she needs some guy who can take charge and that I'm too shy. That she needs a guy whose an expert in bed to please her, and she accurately guessed I'm a virgin, saying that she wouldn't want to be with me because of that. That hurt, but I wasn't even ever seeking anything like that from her anyway, I just wanted a friend at that point. Eventually she learns that I want kids, and she wants another kid too, then suddenly her opinion changed. She decided we were getting married and having kids together, and I'm suddenly the kind, caring type of guy she's always been looking for... She starts telling me about about these intimate dreams she's having about me. I have to admit, having a woman talk to me like that was the hottest thing that's ever happened to me. Still, this wasn't anything I wanted at that point, and I'm certain things would've ended badly, so I convinced her to stay friends.
