It doesn't 'immerse' you in olden times settings, it just takes you out because people only speak in text like that in cliche works of fiction. It's one thing for a character to have dialect written for them, it's another thing to write 'you' as 'ye' because "lol they spoke funny in the past") --- |

With mine, if you hold in the center the entire piece of plastic pops into the controller. Its really awkward and unresponsive-feeling to input more than one direction at a time. I mean like, there's only a click for the first direction held down, after that there's no tactile feedback to know if a secondary direction is being pushed in by your thumb. Contrast with the Xbone controller or say 3DS. It also feels uncomfortable to press east on the Dpad because of how your hand fits the controller, being at that spot is awkward for my thumb --- |
