How would you react if genitals suddenly ceased to exist?

Like, imagine if all men, women, animals, insects, etc., just stopped having genitals. Like everything is replaced with barbie doll-kinda thingy (like just a blob of flesh... like your elbow or something)

Like, you can't pee. No one can pee anymore. Your bladder isn't connected to anything anymore. Some unfortunate animals can't even poop either since they have cloacas (which have ceased to exist as well). So consider yourself fortunate, you can't pee but at least you can poop, which is a minor consolation.

Like, what happens then?

Obviously, there's a major panic since no one can have kids anymore. So all life will disappear (except for maybe those species that lay eggs? I mean, do they need genitals to lay eggs or do they just poop them? I never knew...)

So yeah.

1) Would you be shocked?

2) Do you think medical clinics will start to offer some kind of expensive surgery to dig a hole in your crotch to find some kind of connection to your poor bladder to allow that accumulating pee to come out?

3) Do you think that surgery will be expensive?

4) Do you think the world will devolve into anarchy because of the impending doom of all life on earth?

5) Do you think some charlatans will start making money by inventing some kind of religious explanation why genitals ceased to exist and pretend they have the only answer as to how to get genitals to reappear?

Well, sure.

I mean, I'm the biggest Al Gore fan you're ever going to see. I still have Gore-Lieberman t-shirts from the 2000 campaign. I fucking love the guy. I read his books, too. And I'm still raging about Bush v Gore.

I didn't even particularly like Kerry or Obama... just because they weren't Al Gore.

But in any event, "not stooping to their level" just doesn't work. It took me a while to accept it.

I understood it only in January 2010 when Scott Brown won Ted Kennedy's senate seat basically on the sole issue of defeating Obamacare, which republicans had fucking hammered in the media as being some kind of government takeover of healthcare with death panels and the grim reaper and whatnot. Absolutely ridiculous propaganda.

But it worked. And Scott Brown won.

Playing nice is the right thing to do, but if you do it you just get crushed come election day.

I suppose it might be because Trump attracts quite a bit of hate and the security around the convention will probably be enormously expensive with all the riots out about.

So I'm driving home from the pharmacy.

My car clock says it's 9:31 AM.

To my right you have the bus lane. During weekdays, it's reserved for busses between 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM. There's a cop car behind me.

So I stop at a red light.

At the intersection, a car turns into our street and takes the bus lane. I mean, why not? It's 9:31 AM so it's outside the reserved hours.

The cop car behind me immediately turns on its police lights and crosses the red light to pull that guy over.

Like wtf.

I can only assume that the cop's clock read 9:29 or something so he pulled the guy over for being in the bus lane during restricted hours.

Gotta fill those quotas, man.
