Yeah, they actually did. This whole thing is the result of a 2008 or 2009 9th circuit decision that says that children cannot be held in custody with their parents. This has been going on for literally years, but all of the sudden people are outraged now that Obama is out of office. Funny how that works.

OpenMW is going to be the future of Morrowind, very soon. Once shadows get implemented and once someone does a mod that fixes the meshes so they use less CPU power, then there won't be much reason to go back to the old version. You can use a lot of older mods too, so it's not like it's a vanilla experience if you use OpenMW. Just a lot of the really big ones might have some trouble. There's a wiki for it that lists compatibility for most every mod.

OpenMW also gets rid of the need for all these extra tools, like mod managers, graphics extender, and whatever else. It also has a really easy way to handle mods so you don't mix them up and you can easily install and uninstall without having to deleted files. It's basically an all in one, built on a new engine, and again, it will shortly (probably within the next year) be the definitive way to play.

I'd definitely suggest looking into OpenMW if you can handle currently not having shadows and whatever mods that aren't supported.

One of the good things about the game is you really don't have to worry too much about stealth if you don't want to. Enemies are compartmentalized, so if you get spotted in one area, just turn off the alarm before heading to the next area and they'll be on their normal patrols. The radio mimic is a handy item for this since you don't have find a radio and then play the lame mini game.

Recruit is tough for a first play through. You lose all those early skill points, which really helps because putting points into skills has a very noticeable effect early on.

For first time players, put 5 or 6 points into stealth immediately to get the skill that always shows icons over the enemy's head. After that build up pistols until you get the ability to line up critical shot a from cover. After that it's really whatever you want.

The pistol's chainshot ability is by far the best weapon ability. AR's are the second most effective weapon just because the can hit at any range. The tech tree that helps with hacking and such, is pretty good. As is the tree that has the skill brilliance. Brilliance + pistol chainshot = dead boss.

For weapon upgrades, +2 or +3 to a stat makes a difference. The values actually account for more than you're lead to believe. For example, a pistol with 14 in the damage stat, does 20 damage, and a pistol with 15 listed damage does 25 damage.

For what the stats actually do:
Accuracy = min and max spread (reticle size + how close the bullet hits near the center), and spread return rate (how quickly your reticle returns to the default state).

Recoil = amount of extra spread added per shot + camera recoil per extra shot + the delay before your reticle starts to shrink.

Stability = extra spread added when moving + spread when blindfiring (doesn't affect critical pistol shots)

Comments that get downvoted below a certain threshold are automatically collapsed by default, which means that the comment is hidden unless the user clicks on the name to show the comment. But you can change that option somewhere in your account so that it always shows comments.

I would like to see this challenged in court. Unless Uber supplied the vehicle, I find it hard to believe that they'd have a case against what a person does in their vehicle. It would also depend on the state and their respective laws regarding firing employees, but it would be interesting nonetheless to see where the courts fall on the issue.

A bit of a suggestion: when you ship the Xbox, pay extra for the signature required when delivered. A lot of people think buying tracking will protect them if the buyer tries to claim they didn't get it, but the tracking actually matters very little because there's multiple possibilities where the package could go "missing", and some companies basically say "there's nothing we can do since it's your word against someone else's". Requiring a signature upon delivery, really helps cover your tail if someone wants to try and scam you.

A lot of people seem divided on Eternal Sonata, especially the ending. I thought it was pretty unique. It's written like it's meant to delve into Chopin's mind, trying to express ideas or thoughts he might have had while he was alive. The devs try to explore these ideas that the actual Chopin might have had, through characters, plotline, and dialogue. It's a bit abstract, but after playing it twice, I think it's an interesting take on storytelling, and I also think a lot of it went over people's heads just because of how it was done.

And the game is actually fairly short for an RPG. I think my first playthrough was around 25 hours. Definitely worth playing if you get the chance.

Not in America. In European countries, people can still face manslaughter charges, even if they had every right to defend themselves. A lot of States in the US have stand your ground laws (which means you don't have a duty to retreat if your life is in danger), and if the bystander that shot the criminal only did so in a reactionary way (ie, had no interaction with the shooter prior to the event), then he likely won't even be charged. You'd be hard-pressed to find a DA in the US that is willing to go after someone that stopped a criminal from shooting innocent people.

There is. It's called doing your job as a prosecutor. The defender can't just waste time and get the case thrown out; it heavily depends on what the prosecutor is doing. The DA is obviously inept to let a case like this get thrown out, due the speedy trial law.
