Yeah when I lived on the opposite side of town there was this local place called Flamingo Diner and it was awesome.

This place was called Athenas and it was hot garbage.

Next time I will go the opposite direction and try Parkway House if I am feeling daring. Otherwise I will just go to ihop, get the managers special of two pancakes, 2 eggs and two links of sausage and if my favorite waitress is working ill get bananas on the pancakes.

The early polling has Biden as the 'presumptive nominee' which I think speaks to how poorly Sanders has done in turning his candidacy into a movement.

The only real trend in the Democratic Party is that all other things being equal, the woman has usually won the primary matchup or way overperformed (like in New Jersey where a woman who did almost no fundraising or campaigning put up 41% on incumbent "acquitted of corruption charges" Menendez )

In California EVERY more moderate democrat won more or less, I would be cautious of projecting that a Sanders Democrat will be on the ballot in 2020. It does seem pretty likely that it will be a woman unless Biden does run and manages to not eff up.

These are actually some really interesting numbers on voting with Trump. I had no idea Rand Paul was the biggest dissenter, but I guess that makes sense. He just falls in line better for the important votes better than Murkowski and Collins do, I guess.

Manchin is also closer to Rand Paul than he is any other member of his party with three exceptions: Jones, Heitkamp, and Donnelly. And inspire of the HUGE WV swing for Trump, Manchin actually isn't the biggest headache for Republicans (primarily because of how often he votes with Trump). That would actually be Tester of Montana, who is way more liberal than I would've guessed considering how popular he is out there.

I mean the guy runs an organic farm, how conservative could he be?

The western states aside from California are more libertarian in general, so Tester votes against him for many of the same reasons Paul does; he just has no one pressuring him to cave for the good of the Republican agenda.

I think the fact that so much of Machos career ran through Liz was a product of him having a very consistent character across the vast majority of his career (I have a hard time holding his post-retirement years in the NWO against him too much).

This is a man whose entire character is a study in machismo. He chooses to be managed not by successful managers like Albano or Fuji, or ambitious ones like Slick and Heenan, he chose to be managed by someone who made him feel like a man, the wholesome gorgeous Elizabeth.

His trials and tribulations with her - dumping her because she thought he was too close to Hogan, taking her back, driving himself mad with anxiety when he wasnt man enough to protect her from Jake - this is probably the greatest wrestling character theres ever been.

Watched the Thompson thing a few more times since during the game they mostly replayed the stuff with Green.

Okay, yeah, that was a dumb play by Thompson but - and again, I didn't see it from a good angle - but snap ejection? I dunno, it feels like you see a lot worse happen without that kind of reaction. Still think you avoid most of the escalation if they went to the monitor and called it Flagrant 2 after looking at it.

As for why he did it at all, think he saw it as running up the score/showboating and wanted them to take the 24-second violation. Similarly, the LeBron/Curry argument on the previous possession I think was over Lebron taking exception to Curry going for what probably would have been a dunk if LeBron didn't contest.

I am almost 100% sure the flagrant 2 was for the post play scuffle - the commentators even said the only reason it wasnt a technical was because he had already been tossed.
