There was one where Hulk fucks shit up so hard that both east coast and west coast avengers have to team up to stop him and can't and Dr. Strange ends up putting Hulk back in Bruce's body and is like "sorry Bruce but you're literally the only thing that can contain him" and then there is another one where Bruce actually fights The Hulk but I haven't read that one though I'm sure it also ends with they become one person again.

There's a oneshot where the entire planet died and Bruce was the only one still around. Bruce wanted to die, but the Hulk stopped him every time. Bruce eventually convinced Hulk to let him "die" and Hulk becomes the only persona.

Let's be fair, here. The fanbase loves Spike. Like literally loves him. Not even in a 'love to hate' sort of way. They think he is a hero and cheered when he came back as a 'good guy'. Not only that, but his whole story arc in the later seasons and Angel is how he is trying to be a good guy. You can't really argue, "he's a bad guy, he's not supposed to be good" when he joins the heroes in like season 4 and spends the rest of the series trying to improve himself and kill bad guys.

That's not right though.

They had him become a "good guy" by virtue of a plot device that caused him intense pain whenever he tried to hurt a human. He eventually learned that he can attack other demons without pain and, due to the nature of the character, started to help kill demons because he enjoys fighting. He wasn't trying to improve himself. He was still a bad person, he was simply incapable of doing anything bad. He does do some good things, but his motivation is generally selfish (ie, he doesn't tell Glory about Dawn because he likes Dawn).

He fell in love with Buffy through events that I forget and she eventually discovers this. Later on, Buffy went through some shit and starts to use Spike for nasty, vicious, unhealthy comfort sex. When he attempts to rape her, it's genuinely not all that different from other sex they've had and she initiated. The scene is even framed in such a way that you go back and forth from sympathizing (for lack of a better word) between him and Buffy. When she finally gets him to back off and he realizes what he was doing, that's when he goes and gets his soul back. And when he gets his soul back, that's when he starts genuinely trying to atone because a vampire's soul is Jiminy Cricket in BTVS.

I only wished they expanded on more how fantasy creatures always existing affected world history. Like, apparently stuff like the Alamo still happened, and modern countries still exist. So where did they all come from? How did orcs, elves, human coexist throughout history? It's such a grand premise that was "wasted" on a buddy cop plot. I kind of wish it had been a Netflix series instead of a movie.

I did enjoy Bright tho surprisingly.

I've very casually thought about an alternate history world like this.
