Nothing in the new season has caught my attention yet, but it is early. Holding out for Fate / Apocrypha on Netflix in November, though everything I hear -- and see, judging from the screencaps --
tells me not to expect a whole lot. The Fate / Extra (i.e. Shaft Fate) anime is going to be a highlight of my winter, though.

FE Heroes is doing the Gen 1 Jugdral banner on my birthday, which is cool and feels validating for me. The heroes in question are Tailtiu, Deirdre, and Sigurd. Hoping to pull at least one of them.

I hope I can shed a little light on the New Game! situation here: The reason the anime ends the way it does is that it caught up to the 4-koma on which it was based. Since there was no more material to adapt, they had to stop there (or run the risk of anime-original endings). I still hope for a Season 3, but ... it is unlikely to happen any time soon.

As far as yuri goes, I prefer regular ol' yuri. I have no use for Protag-kunus Interruptus. And there is certainly a niche for futa, but that is not normally my thing. I suppose I am not too angry about New Game! ending the way it does because yuri bait is its own thing, and I know that fanficcers (... like myself) will pick up the slack that the source leaves. *shrugs*

Downloaded Doki Doki Literature Club. Will put Sakura Gamer on my wish list for another time. Granted, my VN backlog is already ... uncomfortably large, but it is good to have too many things to do, rather than not enough, IMO.

Meanwhile, FE Heroes is getting the Jugdral banner (Gen 1) that several people predicted, and that makes me quite happy. I hope Intelligent Systems takes note of their Orb sales when that happens. Need more old school Fire Emblem characters, especially from the unlocalized games.

Though I certainly would not mind a sexy Lobomoon all over my console, I will admit to buying all three versions of the Megaman Anniversary Collection (Game Cube, PS2, and XBox) when that came out. At $20 U.S. a pop, I still say it was a great buy.

New Culdcept already released? And zero advertising for it, as per usual. Might have to put that on the long-term wish list next to Dark Rose Valkryie and other JRPGs I have missed this past year.

Ready for more Neptunia, but I am hoping this new game is not as short as several of the other recent releases in that series. Related: The Vita board has a topic where people are trying to argue that there are no yuri undertones in Neptunia. I find that amusing and sad.

All of these recommendations for Made In Abyss make me interested in seeing the anime, since that is done for the season.

I have had Etrian Odyssey V pre-ordered for months, and I am looking forward to it, though I already know it is going to be pain. Crawling through dungeons means pain. But the new Neptunia is happening the week before that, as is Summon Night 6 (... theoretically), so EO5 is going to have competition.

And that assumes I beat Danganronpa V3 by then. I thought that series had no more surprises for me, but the first chapter has already been a real eyebrow-raiser.

Had (and still have) both, enjoyed both, and that era was truly the Golden Age of Console Gaming, but, in the end, I give the edge to Sega. Shining Force and Phantasy Star made me a believer, though that does not mean the SNES was bad. Far from it.

Sailor Moon is a classic (for me, at least), but I freely admit that it did not look up to par for its time (due to a very low budget, reliance on stock transformation footage, etc.). Then again, I find that faux '80s look endearing.

Danganronpa V3 has arrived, and I have high hopes for that game, but ... I started playing Peach Beach Splash (i.e. fan service Splatoon) instead. Takaki, the creator of Senran Kagura, more or less says it all in his introduction in the manual:

"Hello, everyone. This is the Righteous Boobage Producer, Takaki. Senran Kagura has grown more and more thanks to the support of boob and ass lovers around the world! PBS is a new game -- a TPS [third-person shooter] -- and our team came together for this challenge. Nothing would make me happier than for this game to bring a smile to your face. You have my word that we'll continue to make fun games with a defiant amount of boobage, as well as tender asses for you to sink into. Tits are life, ass is hometown."

I have said it before in this series of topics, but this man is our hero.

It helps that the game is a lot of fun. My first PS4 title in the SK series, and it looks great in HD. Looking forward to the PS4 remake of the original Senran Kagura, too, but that is a little ways off.
