High-quality Final Fantasy died after the Square Enix merger, IMO, and it was shortly after that that the Persona series gathered steam. ... Tales has been around for ages, but is hit-or-miss, depending on who you talk to.

I remember you saying you could only watch so much of Watamote, so that might not be a top choice, but ... hmm. I suspect Unlimited Blade Works is the shitty Deen movie, so avoid that, too. Invaders of the Rokujyoma is underrated and fun. Sakura Trick is god-tier yuri, as you know. Punch Line is just weird. And Angelic Layer has a lot more content than its source manga.

I watched it today. A number of good moments, but the movie, as a whole, felt too short to me. I suspect the definitive edition will happen on Blu-Ray, and that will feel more complete.

Never had a Compaq, but I knew plenty of people who did. It was always kind of a 'meh' machine for them. eMachines, on the other hand, always seemed to be the ones people bought because they could not afford anything better, and they usually tanked. ... In that era, my family had a Packard Bell, then a Sony Vaio, then a Gateway (... back when Gateway did not suck ass; Hell, that PC still worked fine as recently as last year, it just couldn't go online any more).

Watching Fate / Apocrypha, now that U.S. Netflix has seen fit to release it. ... Call me picky, but I wish any studio but A-1 Pictures had done this one. It looks cheaper and sloppier (IMO) than it should. Then again, I might just be spoiled by Ufotable (and the promise of Shaft doing the Fate / Extra anime here soon).

If you enjoy fighters, KOF XIII Gold Edition is a good pick. As far as the RPGs go, the Valhalla Knights games are ... not particular exciting, but serviceable. Blazing Souls is old school Idea Factory (i.e. neat story and character design slowed down by extremely frustrating game play systems). Innocent Life is underrated.
