Also it reduces the school's credibility that they hire a professor who doesn't understand basic geographical concepts. The assignment was essentially "compare the US to another country". Maybe he should have thought "Why did she choose a continent instead of a country?" and did a five second precursory search to realize it's both, instead of failing her instantly for a "fundamentally flawed work". The community's further divided up by the 30+ game modes and DLC. Odds are if you want to play a certain game mode, you're gonna just be loaded into an empty match waiting for players infinitely. There is no single player campaign, only some arcade-style challenges. Arkham Knight is probably a better investment, though I thought it was a little less exciting than the earlier Arkham games because it felt like there was less emphasis on the set stealth sections where you got to screw around with people as they walked around... --- RS3: UltimaSuende . He promptly kicks me from the game and we have a huge argument, resulting in him not wanting to speak to me. Preface: Yesterday we had a session in an RPG where my character is more or less plot-critical, called Clarity. That session however, due to various reasons, went horrible, but at least we closed down the first story arc. Needless to say, I was pissed at our Game Master, let's call him Jack, because he was at least three of those various reasons I basically ragequit that session. However, by the morning I calmed down and had an awesome session in another game, my character there was called Mira. Today, we got into a conversation over Discord (we are best friends) and it drifts how similar Mira is to Clarity. I remark on how Mira is basically a better version of Clarity because with Clarity I lost direction and her personality dissolved. In a spur of the moment decision, I decide to change my character. I thought Jack would understand and continue piloting Clarity as an NPC because she's plot critical. We even had a timeskip coming up, perfect time to reroll! Well, no. Jack casually says "I hope you enjoyed playing in my campaign then". I retort with some generic "I understand, but I hope it wouldn't have come to that" BS because I thought he was either joking or I misunderstood. Tone is hard to convey over chat. Well, no. He then proceeds to go ballistic on me for ruining his plans, he spent so much time planning and it's all in vain. I'm not perfect either, my stubborn "I did nothing wrong" mode engages and I cement the decision. (Funnily enough, had he said "Clarity is important, I would like you to continue playing her" I would've shrugged and said okay. I'm a bad person.) I say "You can still play Clarity! You can enact all those plans if you want", still not getting what is he losing by gaining full control of a plot-critical character, and trying to get him to see that it's not the end of the world. Well, no. Jack carries on trying to guilt trip me by saying, word by word, "why are you doing this to me, the other, the campaign?" I do the chat equivalent of raising an eyebrow and explain why none of it is valid and he should take a chill pill. He then says "Fine, be selfish" and does the chat equivalent of storming off. Now really concerned about our friendship, I ask whether it's still intact. I'm sure such a petty argument wouldn't get between us... Well, no. After five minutes of radio silence (I had been watching LCS inbetween typing replies, so I wasn't bothered), her girlfriend (who is a friend of mine and another player in that particular game) says he doesn't want me to talk to him. I'm just baffled at how childish Jack is, not only ragequitting our conversation but using his girlfriend as a postal pigeon. Now a bit of explaining: It wasn't only his game that was at stake. All in all we shared 4 games, one which I ran, and I didn't want him to quit those games or make the Game Master kick me. I was feeling kinda bad, but was still stubborn about my innocence. (Then about half an hour later he decided to be a rational adult person and we talked things out, in the end we made up and I kept playing Clarity.) --- RS3: UltimaSuende . On the quest to 99 WC.
