Yup. Time to prompt it, OP. And be forward and aggressive about it. Don't ask the girl "So, uh, do you like me?"

Grab her by the metaphorical pussy and be like "Yo, girl. You feel great on my chest. I like you too. Wanna go steady?" assuming that's what you want. Else be upfront along the lines of "Whelp, my arms are open for other chicks too. Sorry, I don't see you that way."

She was willing to get her picture repeatedly taken for money for both stock images specifically for "overweight women exercising" and then used in an ad campaign for a gym that targets fatties.

Multiple people (in marketing) wanted her image and paid her accordingly -- literally a model, moreso than an random hottie from instagram.

TopicAre the Disgaea games good?
philsov
01/24/18 5:22:52 PM

Gameplay in Disgaea is far more simplistic (I really enjoy FFT's secondary skillset/reaction/support/movement ability system) and the turn progression of "all enemies act -> all players act -> repeat" is also something I'm not a fan of. Still, between the combo system and the AoE options this game has, there's a bit of planning that can go into some moves.

A lot of Disgaea is built around grinding and repetitive gameplay. Part of the allure of it is then getting huuuuuuuuge numbers but those are mostly meaningless because the enemy also has huuuuuuuuge HP so whatever.

I will say that Chapter 6 in Disgaea 1 is the single best segment in any tactics game ever, from both a storyline and gameplay perspective.

They get a bit same-y over time; at most I suggest Disgaea 1 for a single storyline playthrough and then one of the more recent iterations if you feel like losing 100+ hours in item world grinding and class unlocks. There's little to be gained by grabbing the entire series.

Edit: Chapter 6 is "Laharl's Challenge", which runs through the gambit of: A map full of weenies. Like, literally every single square has a monster. Then the unsure knight, then the monster from another planet who splits into 10% which reduces his LOVE POWER, the prism rangers, and of course, a midboss fight.

I let them know that I know, and react to their response. I've gone both ways between:

"yeah, but no problem. We're open and he's kinda aware of what I'm up to, and he's doing similar himself" -> proceed
"oh. Is that going to be a problem?" -> Abort

empathy aside, I just don't like being embroiled in drama. Dealing with spurned lovers and needing to be secretive are not my specialties.

Context matters. Namely, is it being used as a pejorative?

The point of a drag queen is often to shake up what it means to "be a man" or "be a woman" and oftentimes involves being crass and offensive, although some modern drag queens have become literal clowns.

Not only drag queens but any socially aware entertainer ought to Punch Up.

Privilege. However, providing stuff like vaccines and basic healthcare (prevention+treatment) is both cheaper and increases the quality of life for the population as a whole rather than reserve it only for those capable of paying.

It's also how I view education -- having the vast majority being literate and capable of addition (e.g.) is a good thing and worth the investment.

Or did one of you use the words "hang out" and that's as far as it went?

Hanging out together is not a date until it's established via communal knowledge that this shared time is indeed a date. There is this magical thing called "friendship" where a female will spend free time with a male (or vice versa) without romantic or sexual intent. Males do this with other males all the time, notably.

A nice rack ensures that our offspring will be well nourished. A curvaceous body implies that giving birth will be easier. It all makes sense. Given we're not a hunter & gatherer society anymore, being tall isn't any different than being an average of shorter male. We'll still produce children regardless.

Baby formula and hospitals negate those female perks. A flat chested female stick isn't any different than a busty curvy one in modern society (assuming both are at adequate income levels, of course :p)

Tall guys with longer reach/arm span made better hunter/gatherers. It's less the ability to produce offspring but more the ability to secure resources and provide a safety net over time. Which modern society also negates but we've still got programming that takes longer to catch up.

Also this. A (now divorced) friend couple of mine always had the guy feeling diminished whenever his wife wore heels, because she became taller than him. Being shorter than his girl made him feel like less of a man.
