Paragon21XX

Talos the mighty! Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable! To you we give praise!

We are but maggots, writhing in the filth of our own corruption! While you have ascended from the dung of mortality, and now walk among the stars!

But you were once man! Aye! And as man, you said, "Let me show you the power of Talos Stormcrown, born of the North, where my breath is long winter. I breathe now, in royalty, and reshape this land which is mine. I do this for you, Red Legions, for I love you."

Aye, love. Love! Even as man, great Talos cherished us. For he saw in us, in each of us, the future of Skyrim! The future of Tamriel!

And there it is, friends! The ugly truth! We are the children of man! Talos is the true god of man! Ascended from flesh, to rule the realm of spirit!

The very idea is inconceivable to our Elven overlords! Sharing the heavens with us? With man? Ha! They can barely tolerate our presence on earth!

Today, they take away your faith. But what of tomorrow? What then? Do the elves take your homes? Your businesses? Your children? Your very lives?

And what does the Empire do? Nothing! Nay, worse than nothing! The Imperial machine enforces the will of the Thalmor! Against its own people!

So rise up! Rise up, children of the Empire! Rise up, Stormcloaks! Embrace the word of mighty Talos, he who is both man and Divine!

For we are the children of man! And we shall inherit both the heavens and the earth! And we, not the Elves or their toadies, will rule Skyrim! Forever!

Terrible and powerful Talos! We, your unworthy servants, give praise! For only through your grace and benevolence may we truly reach enlightenment!

And deserve our praise you do, for we are one! Ere you ascended and the Eight became Nine, you walked among us, great Talos, not as god, but as man!

Trust in me, Current Events! Trust in Paragon21XX! For I am the chosen of Talos! I alone have been anointed by the Ninth to spread his holy word!

We already have enough nukes to destroy the entire world, possibly several times over. Why the FUCK would we need more?

Theyre also impractical from a military standpoint. They arent precise and basically never an option. They exist as a last resort to intimidate others, but, as you said, we have enough. This will eat into the militarys budget and direct attention away from things they actually care about

The cost of nuclear weapon construction and upgrading come strictly out of the DOE's budget, not the military's.

They were trying to see if they could pull off what Letron_James claimed by trying to reply to a topic while it was in the process of being created by the system thinking that the creation of the OP is slightly delayed compared to the creation of the actual topic. They tried to accomplish this by using a trick of pre-filling the internal fields used by the site to post replies which includes guessing the topic number before it's created. They only managed to make a STP reply in the end which was still a major accomplishment in itself (this was years before dead topics were archived rather than deleted, so you'll have to take my word for it).

If their condition could potentially pose a threat to harm self or others such as the various forms of psychosis, then treat away, with or without their consent. Otherwise, treat them only if the individual desires the treatment (such as those with forms of neurosis).

For gene editing in the womb, any debilitating genetic conditions should be considered for treatment. Using CRISPR and similar technologies to make designer babies should be made highly illegal if not already.

Why not open solar panel plants in America? Oh wait EPA regulations.

Because people don't want to pay 100x more for a solar panel. Low-cost labor in production is good because it means greater adoption of solar and more jobs in the installation and maintenance industry here at home.

translation: I am okay with exploiting labor in third world countries if we get solar power out of it

If you have ever consumed anything that said "Made in China", you have no room to talk.

All "Made in China" does for outsourced manufacturing is increase profit margins for domestic businesses. Allowing the Chinese to directly dump their cheap goods here with no way to mitigate it creates a glut that threatens all non-Chinese producers and jobs (unless your whole business is simply installing panels). If you can't grasp that distinction, then you have no further business addressing this topic.

Coach didn't believe him and sent him to the office, then one of the A.P.s came back with the kid and he explained the situation to him. Coach spent the class teaching him how to run while we did some fitness test crap. We're doing our pushups and sit-ups and there's this awkward kid running all bowlegged, plodding feet around the perimeter of the gym.

Milk has never caused any notable health issues for anyone, ever. Unless youre lactose intolerant, of course. But people hardly are. This scare tactic trite used by vegans and other anti-milk enthusiasts is one of the more ridiculous agendas being pushed this decade.

Who has more to gain by using biased science? People against milk, or the entirety of the dairy and beef industry?

Not a valid argument. People ate beef since ancient times and later drank the milk as well when the Northern European population evolved to enable lactase production during adulthood, neither of which were started by some imaginary Big Beef or Big Dairy.

And most people against dairy consumption are either vegan or lack the lactase enzyme such as TC.

It's possible to start lactation without pregnancy. Dry nurse or pump long and often enough and the body will start to produce milk without the need for pregnancy.

can men do this too?

Considering men can spontaneously lactate under certain circumstances (medications, liver damage, pituitary gland tumors or disorders, etc.), then theoretically, men also have the capability to start lactation using the above techniques.

If stores locked up all haircare products, they it'd be fine.

If stores specifically lock up black haircare products, they're basically saying "black people are thieves and we don't trust them" and thus are racist

they are saying we have been having problems with these products. why look everything up? that would be less convenient to the customer and more work for the employees.

If you're going to lock up haircare products, then lock up haircare products. Don't only lock up those that are used by one race. That's literally discrimination. Any black person that walks into a store will feel like they can't be trusted to pay for their fucking haircare while the white people can.

We want people to feel accepted, not singled out because of their race.

Why lock up the shit that doesn't have a high theft rate? Because people can't differentiate between reality and some imagined racist bogeyman?

That's all Darklit has to argue about. Don't just summarily dismiss the entire crux of his argument like that. /s
