What's been stopping from them from just doubling the price of Internet up to this point? Oh, right, competition. Not sure why you think that dynamic will change. The only thing that *might* change is the ability to buy Internet services in bundles, which will result in low-level users paying less than they are now and power users paying more. And this is probably fair, TBH.

How would I do that? I've read a bit of Plato and I have an ethics class next semester. I'm not extremely interested right now but that might change when I get into the class.

you should look around the philosophy section of wikipedia and find something that interests you
