My roommate and I had the best time ever playing Super Meat Boy, taking turns between levels. Any other great games for this?

Worms. Although that's more competitive.

Mario Maker was great for this.

Dark Souls. It's really designed for passing the sticks but is a lot of fun when you settle into a rhythm.

Unfortunately Dark Souls is a no-go for my roommate and me. He enjoys watching me play, but hes scared to play it himself (Doesnt want to take the time to get involved with such a frustrating game). Ive begged him to try playing just up to the tutorial boss, but he always refuses.

Plus Ive beaten the first Dark Souls multiple times, and im pretty close to beating DS3 for the second time. So Im pretty good at these games and wouldnt be passing the controller very often, save for SOME boss fights.

However, since many of you and people I found on google keep saying Dark Souls, it reminds me to ask:

Is Breath of the Wild a good pass the controller game? With everything ive heard about it, it seems to me it would be. Unlike other Zelda games where the experience is meant to be had by one person, this one seems like it would be cool to play as a collaborative effort. Like shrines and other cool stuff are everywhere, so I figured it would be cool to be like Hey Im gonna go check this cave out, then you can find something cool to do.

Mario Maker really is the best.
Add a layer too it by taking shots or drinks of beer (depending on how much you'll be playing) when you die along with passing the controller off.

I've been a Worms fanatic since the original, pretty damn good at it also.

Peggle, Mini golf games, Geometry Wars all fall under this category for me.

I had a lot of fun with GTA San Andreas and Scarface the world is yours as well. Because even if the person playing plays for a while its entertaining to watch
