According to the TC's article, that is what the slogan meant. It promoted a secular democratic state. But those ideals are considered anti-semitic because they're incompatible with Israel as a Jewish ethnostate.

The origins of the slogan

As the Palestinian-American scholar Maha Nassar wrote in the Jewish publication "Forward" in 2018, the slogan gained traction among Palestinians in the 1960s as they advocated for a single secular, democratic state extending across the entirety of the land historically known as "Palestine," which includes both Israel and the Palestinian territories.

That was the line taken by the Palestine Liberation Organization upon its founding by Yasser Arafat in 1964.

In other words, the slogan did originate as a call for the dismantling of Israel as a Jewish state.
As Nassar notes, plenty of Palestinians did believe at the time that a realization of that vision would likely entail thousands of Jewish people voluntarily leaving, given that they would no longer live in an explicitly Jewish state.

Palestinians viewed Israelis within the context of settler colonialism, believing Israel to be yet another European colony akin to Algeria.

I don't think he's trying to destroy democracy. I think he's willing to go against the majority of voters even if it means losing votes, losing the election, and destroying democracy. He knows full well that democracy is at stake and he's even campaigned on it.

And I'm not sure what the majority of voters even think on this issue. I think most voters support Israel to varying degrees but obviously a lot of people aren't going to sign up for the full genocide of Gaza plan and Biden absolutely needs to respond accordingly or its the greatest failure of his presidency..

I did though. My point was that not voting and letting Trump win in order to apply pressure to dems for future elections doesn't work if Trump and republicans actually carry out their plans (that they openly talk about) to centralize power and mass arrest dems. There is no democracy at that point and no means to exert political pressure through voting.

If the plan right now is to try a bluff and to leverage Biden into getting a ceasefire then fine, but actually not voting in 2024 is suicide.

Can you elaborate on the overlord? How does he factor into the story or motivation of characters? Why would he destroy everyone and what's stopping him? I could see the protagonist joining the Enforecers if he thought they were a necessary evil. Also, he's the only one without powers? Seems like that should play way more into the story. He's inherently an outsider from the force. Why did he want to join so badly that he would obtain tech in order to pretend and assumedly face dire punishment if he was found out?

It sounds like the overlord hates skunks, but can't target individuals with his powers. He can only destroy entire communities. He justifies this by equating their tolerance of skunks with complicity.

To prevent that, the police enforce his wrath more specifically. They crack down on skunks and their perceived allies, including peaceful protesters. This forces the skunks into a life of crime.

But he's not a one-to-one representation. That's because Toriyama is using him not just to comment on Christianity, but on those who do "good" things as a byproduct of the pure pursuit of some ideal.

Goku is intended to be a Christ-like figure who transcends human understanding of morality. His childlike innocence, his relationship with his family, and his decision to spare his enemies are all part of that.

But you can't delete your account before closing it. And you can't request to close your account while in purgatory.

If he was able to bypass this process, then this may go up to the highest levels.

When you close your account, there's a one-week window before it becomes permanent. If he's in the middle of that, shouldn't his account still appear as closed?

Couldn't the developers fix that issue by designing puzzles differently?

The earlier ones might focus on teaching you different ways you can use the new item. However, later puzzles would be more complicated and require you to use your earlier items as well. I think CrossCode did this well.

It normally takes time for usernames to be purged from the system. Once they do, anyone can recycle them. It's not considered impersonation by itself.

There are exceptions, which the system wouldn't let you request in the first place. The username may appear purged but is actually reserved.

The new DR was able to bypass that restriction through some exploit or it never applied in the first place. That could mean it was the original DR recreating her account.

Well that amounts to the same thing. If GameFAQs doesn't keep closed accounts around but automatically deletes them instead then of course they should allow someone else to take the username. Nobody made GameFAQs make that change after all.

They usually do, but there's an exception for usernames of previously banned or closed accounts. Those usernames aren't truly purged, but are "reserved" so a different person can't request that username.
