I'm still worried my grandfather (who is in early dementia) will one day fail to recognize me and think I'm an intruder.

He keeps a small amount of guns and ammo that's still large enough to kill me, my aunt and my grandmother should he go off the deep-end.

It doesn't help that he's a die-hard Trumper who thinks the 2020 election was stolen and that the Democrats "would bring the end-times with their evil ways".

I would rather embalm myself than watch that.

That's my shtick!

If you like true crimes stories, then a show I would recommend is True Nightmares.

It runs unlike virtually every other show on ID and is a favorite of mine to watch from time to time.

Both seem fun to tease - Aerith about her hair and Tifa about her...piano?

And for the record, I agree with what he said. The series peaked with Gen 5, then the cracks started to form in Gen 6 and 7, and once they moved to home consoles, all hell broke loose.

That's not a cereal I'm familiar with. Is it not available in the US or something'?

Gen 1-2 were good, still some problems but it's understandable because it was still a new franchise.

Gen 3-5 were great, where the franchise peaked. Platinum, HG/SS, and B2/W2 are the pinnacle of the Pokemon franchise.

Gen 6 was good, but X/Y had tons of missed potential due to Gamefreak trying to handle too many other non-Pokemon projects at once and Z being cancelled as a result. OR/AS are also (IMO) really underrated and the last truly great mainline Pokemon games.

Gen 7 was where things started going downhill, and it's only gotten worse with every game since. The Pokemon franchise will never ever be good again unless they either slow down the release schedule or Gamefreak hires a lot more people to work on the games. But I don't see either of those happening.

Same here. I've regretted buying S/V (I should have learned my lesson after Sw/Sh and BD/SP but open world gameplay led to misguided hype) and I'm completely done buying Pokemon games until I see what they're actually like. This DLC not only didn't fix any of the substantial problems of the base game, it made some of them worse and introduced new problems on top of them. It's not worth the money, and it's not worth the headache.

The first one I saw had blood red claws, long and shaggy red hair and a pale naked flesh.

I have autism and was born in the 90's. I was diagnosed early since I displayed classic traits like lining up toy cars in a row.

I wasn't told until the fifth grade, and I was initially confused about it.

He keeps a small arsenal in the house. Enough to kill everyone in the family and more.

The only one is my great aunt, but only locally for getting into a fight with a black student when she was a school bus driver.
