Rika and Iono definitely look the best IMO.

Gallen's already up to 70 pitches and he's not even out of the 3rd. Even if he gets out of this inning with the game still tied and no more damage, the Rangers have a ton of momentum already.

Viewership numbers are also weird in the sense that so many people don't have cable anymore.

But one of the biggest reasons that the people who still have cable do still have cable is so they can access their regional sports networks and watch their local sports teams without the games being blacked out on MLB TV or similar services. Baseball in particular relies far more on RSN's and less on nationally televised games than the other sports, so if anything, the increase in cord-cutters should affect baseball less than other sports.

Anyways, I accomplished my usual goal of DLv16 in the Duelist Cup on both of my accounts, using Floowandereeze on my main account and Labrynth on my side account. Sadly, I didn't pull anything good with the free DC packs, but whatever.

HOLY SHIT! All it took was one shot from Jackpot's weapon (with the assist from what might be the best minibot performance in BattleBots history) to hit Cobalt's battery, light it ablaze, and punch a ticket to the Tournament of Champions! That was one hell of a finale to this episode.

4 judge's decisions in a row in the first round, followed by Cobalt destroying Emulsifier and Jackpot winning one of the best and closest fights I've seen in this whole Champions season over Lucky. It had great hits, it had a close comeback at the end, it even had a minibot actually being effective for once!

On a side note, I saw someone on 4chan refer to BattleBots as "vegan cock fighting" and it made me laugh.

I strongly doubt Tony Khan will let Flair actually have a match. He's not like Sting, or Jericho, or Jarrett, or Billy Ass, the veterans on the roster who can actually still move and wrestle fairly well despite their age. At most, Flair might throw a punch or take a single bump and that's it.

It's not luck, and this isn't usual. Low payroll teams have a shot every few years by building up their systems. The Dodgers losing isn't tragic, especially because them choking in October is consistent.

Exactly. If you could go into the season, look at the teams' payrolls, and immediately know that any team with a payroll in the bottom half/third of the league stood zero chance of winning the championship no matter what, that would be no fun at all. A well-run small-market team with a low payroll being a championship contender is always a good thing, and the ones that suck constantly are either not being run well or not trying to win.

Blame John Mozeliak for being a garbage-ass GM who went cheap on pitching while also being terrible at judging hitters because he traded away great talents like Randy Arozarena and (ALCS MVP) Adolis Garcia while choosing to keep bums like Tyler O'Neill and Paul DeJong. This stupid idiot is wasting the prime years of Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado on mediocre teams that are nowhere near title contenders.

This is going to be a fun World Series. Two teams that had over 100 losses a couple of years ago but turned their franchises around, one that hasn't won the WS in 20 years, and another that hasn't won it ever. I'll be cheering for the Rangers, but I'm happy no matter which team wins.

I'd prefer Arizona on the NL side since they're not a division rival of either of my home teams, but I'd be fine with Philly too. As long as the Rangers send the cheaters home on the AL side, in the end I don't really care how everything else shakes out.

100% agree. Whether it's a Mario Golf game, one of the Tiger Woods games (or that one time EA switched to Rory McIlroy as the cover guy), or even those Golden Tee arcade machines with the trackball controls, I'm a wiz at golf video games. Anything that involves swinging an actual physical club, not so much.

D4DJ: Groovy Mix updated the song selection menu, and I hate the update so much that it made me uninstall the game on the spot. Before this update, it was very easy for me to filter the list of songs to only songs that I had unlocked but hadn't full-comboed yet. But after this update, the made the menu super convoluted and the filters so much more restrictive than before. After about 20 minutes of fiddling through the menu to see if I could find a way to filter it in a way that even remotely resembled what I could do before this update, I gave up and uninstalled the game out of frustration. So now I'm down to only 2 games again, Revue Starlight ReLive and Star Lusts.

Sounds like it was due to some mixup between VIZ Media and Studiopolis. VIZ wanted Wendee (according to Wendee) but Studiopolis still ran auditions for Yoruichi and recast her.

After it was noticed, they brought back Wendee. But by that point, Anairis had already been in an episode and been announced as the new actor.

This. It seems like it was an unfortunate miscommunication between the licensor and the studio that has now been resolved, but Wendee for some reason has continued to stir up drama even after it. I always knew Haruhi was a bitch and Yuki was best girl.

Oh hey, the OCG Stories Sky Striker manga finally ended. Now that it's done, I'll have to binge read it soon.

Why? They were finally starting to wash the stink of that name off the promotion after a few years of having a pretty good product and really starting to settle in as a solid and respectable #3 behind WWE and AEW. Why switch back now? I genuinely don't understand the logic behind this.

I ditched my handtraps aside from Maxx C (it's too good plus it can be shotgunned in draw/standby phase to dodge Fenrir/Unicorn) and Imperm (it doesn't trigger Fenrir/Unicorn) in favor of board breakers and Thrust to search them. I also run both Talent and Change Of Heart along with Widow Anchor for stealing monsters, because stealing Arise-Heart and turning it into Zeus is a great way to remove it.

I don't believe that for one second. Never have, never will.

Also, most of my anger towards the Astros isn't simply in the fact that they cheated, but in the fact that they suffered no meaningful consequences for it. They were allowed to keep that tainted championship, and none of their players were ever fined or suspended. If commissioner Manfred actually had the balls to strip them of that tainted championship, then I (and many other people) would have accepted that and moved on by now. But that didn't happen, so my hatred for the Astros and everyone from that 2017 team, Altuve included, continues.

Got caught up and watched/listened to the MV's that have been released so far. I like the Mitchie M one the most so far in terms of the song itself, but the PinocchioP one gave me major nostalgia from the visuals.

It's weird seeing an OG game boy. I usually consider pokmon Gen 1 a pocket era game. Yes, day one Japanese buyers did get the OG experience but Americans by and large had pockets by that point.

I actually played Pokemon on the OG Game Boy first, because that's what my older brother had before Pokemon even came out. We each got our own Pokemon games, but we had to share the GB for a couple of months. Later that year, we both got a GB Color for Christmas, so we skipped over the GB Pocket entirely, we didn't need to share systems anymore, and we could finally trade together.
