When Ukraine gets invaded, the world stands with Ukraine, because they have the right to personal freedom and sovreignity, etc. And so we help Ukraine retaliate. But when a certain Middle Eastern country gets invaded and they retaliate, well - "Whoever gave them the right to retaliate?" Certainly not us! I'm not condoning the events of 7 October by any stretch, but when you put into context the years of oppression it becomes clearer what the impetus was.
