Yeah that really does describe a lot of Americans especially in the South. Salt is often the only seasoning in dishes and take caution of black pepper. Too much of it and your food will be too spicy to eat.

My MIL thinks the Bojangles fry seasoning is too spicy. If you aren't from an area of the US where Bojangles is a thing, their fry seasoning is made from salt, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and a little bit of chili powder.

I'm also very curious to know if TC has actually tasted milk/sausage gravy before since he is so keen to poop all over it. They also don't realize that we have the same brown meat gravy here too.

Just an update. We got power back Wednesday night. Now have to get the warranty company to pay the electrician and get the home insurance company to reimburse us for all the spoiled food in the fridge and all the take out we had to buy while we had no power.

Yeah I never fully understood what to do in the game. Collect wabbits and collect any floating items like fruit and letters before running out of time. Occasionally you'd create spells with the fruit that would unlock mini games and then you'd fight screen filling bosses.

Game has a ton of charm.

Every one i've been in had the smell of that buttery popcorn they used to sell. Even after they stopped selling it, the store continued having that smell.

This. One person in the marriage making that much in most places would allow the other to not work. At the same time, they should be pulling their weight in some aspect of the marriage. Taking care of the house chores, food, and scheduling appointments for the both of them while the other works.

I should look into it cause I've been hearing about it for years and I enjoyed yoga the few times I've done it. I will say everytime you see DDP in those reunion/legends things in a wrestling program, he looks incredible compared to all his broken down looking peers so that says something about his program.

It does take a bit to adjust to the taste of alcohol. Also it depends on the type of alcohol you're drinking and the brand/quality of it. For instance, I'm not a big gin or bourbon person but I drink tequila straight by the glass.

A screwdriver, like you mentioned, is a great simple drink to attempt. OJ is strong and will mask the taste. Start with mostly OJ and a small bit of vodka. Then slowly adjust the ratios to incorporate more vodka. A lot of sugary cocktails will hide the alcohol taste well but they tend to make you feel sick off the sugar. Look for some of those flavored "moonshines" at your local store. The ones that are advertised as apple pie flavor tastes exactly like it. They tend to have a high ABV but not a strong alcohol taste so be careful.

One more tip. Make sure you stay hydrated. Drinking is fun and all but the hangover is not. Drink plenty of water as you drink your alcohol and you'll avoid the hangover the following day.

I own both on the Genesis.
1 is one of the best games on the system.
2 is fine. The new transformations are cool but everything is dark and some shade of brown. Also the game is a lot easier than 1.

Electrical panel in our house caught fire at 4:30am and now theres no power. Still waiting on our home warranty company to find someone available to come out and repair it all.

Not when I was younger but did discover it within the last couple years. Lot of fun.

There's this local place that I go to sometimes where I get a pizza with calabrian sauce, jalapenos, and mike hot honey. It's really good.

Mike's hot honey is amazing.

It's a novelty for the first couple levels, then becomes boring/annoying. Still need to give the Saturn version a try. Apparently it looks a lot better.

Having just one Ad Blocker is just asking for trouble. You need more than one. I have what I have in Firefox as I feel it is better to be safe than sorry and I cover all bases.

Give me overkill anyday other than being sorry down the line when an ad that is isn't blocked by uBlock gives me trouble.

I do not care what Takato says. Having just one Ad Blocker is just suicidal and crazy. There is no way in hell I would run Firefox without what I have got in it.

Question about scotch

I normally like dark liquors, but one time I had some Jonny Walker Gold Label scotch, and to this day it's some of the nastiest liquor I've had. Is all scotch like that, or is it just that brand?

Not at all. Scotch from different isles have different flavors. Personally I love Islay scotch but it can be the most divisive type. Smokey peat, oil, and sea salt are common flavors of it.

I've had this conversation with my wife. We both agreed to never tell a single person and slowly upgrade aspects of our life. Like pay off our mortgage and start building our forever home. We also plan to keep working cause we both really enjoy our jobs. That'll also keep people from asking questions.

Ristar is one of the best games on the Genesis. Unfortunately it was released late into the system's life(1995) so a lot of people never got around to playing it.

Darkman decided to get sober and stop wasting time on CE so he closed his account. I spoke to him on Discord for a few months afterwards before he stopped logging into that as well.

Sid was a lot of fun during that time. I watched that second rope leg injury live on PPV as a kid. That image is still seared into my brain.

Learn how to solder and replace capacitors. That'll be the primary thing that will fail on cart based systems. Do that and the systems will outlive you.

With the first couple cd based console gens, caps and cd drives are the points of failure. There are cd drive replacements for those consoles that allow you to run games from sd cards instead. That will prolong the console's life. Course that's getting into non-legal methods.

Haven't had to replace a faucet before but have done other small plumbing things like replacing the inner of a toilet. As long as you turn off the shutoff valve to both hot and cold, you shouldn't need to stress. Also don't overtighten the new faucet to the sink. Otherwise you might crack it.

I've actually been thinking about checking that out. I've seen it available on a free streaming service I sometimes use called Tubi.

Haven't really been into wrestling for years now, but that upcoming wrestling JRPG has got me feeling nostalgic for the days when I was into it.

A lot of the episodes are about wrestlers from the late 70s into the early 90s. That was a little before my time but the episodes were still great to watch. Then it goes into japanese and american hardcore feds in the 90s, Eddie/Benoit two parter, the plane ride from hell which took places around 2002.

Any plans to continue this topic after the 500?

Yeah during his first run in wwf when he was teamed up with Hogan, he did cartwheels and top rope moves. He was super agile for a big guy. That was his thing. He eventually had back surgeries that made him less agile. I just watched his episode last night.
