For B, you have a couple choices. Depends if you're trying to pick games that were unique to the Genesis or not.

Batman Returns(Sega exclusive)
Battletoads & Double Dragon(on both Genesis and SNES)
Beavis and Butt-Head(Genesis version is a different game from the SNES one)

Is the Saturn still a pain in the ass to program and emulate?

It's pretty solid to emulate these days from what I hear. I haven't looked into it much as I have a Saturn with an ODE installed.

The church I went to as a kid had what they called "Judgement House," which was sort of an existential religious horror thing. I never went to it, but I've heard they basically treat you as if you've recently died and are waiting in Purgatory to find out if you're going to Heaven or Hell. I know it goes on for a while, and I guess they present some depictions of the things you did when you were alive. Finally, it ends with you meeting Saint Peter in the stairwell, where he either motions for you to go up to Heaven, or down to Hell. I know they often split up people during this part.

Anyways, like I said, I've never been. But people who have tell me that it's pretty intense.

Went one of these a few times as a teenager and yeah they were intense. Went with a group and it made a couple of my friends cry.

That's really cool people are still working on stuff for the Saturn outside of fan translations.

Always loved this game growing up. I thought there was a lot of variety in each area. Also enjoyed how non linear it was so I could go explore different areas and save the family in whatever order I felt like.

The platforming itself isn't the best but it's passable and the weapons/items you get keep it from being frustrating. I didn't realize until now how limited the soundtrack was. I think the music fits with the Addams family but only 3-4 tracks? That's really bad.

I liked his talk show as a kid.

Without a legacy voice like Allen the Fandom people aren't going to understand that the people who use gamefaqs want it to be a last vestige of web 1.0 message boards.

This is my fear. Changes and additional features to the boards are fine. Not having that legacy voice as part of that conversation can lead to foundational changes like Reddit style threads in order to attract more users. I have different use cases for Reddit and GFAQS.

Certainly agree with that for all the reasons you mentioned. NA Genesis owners got the one game. That's it. It even gave off a snes vibe.

Oh that's a great rec. The Addams Family is a great platformer. Never played Values though since the Genesis port was never released in NA.

That sssssss is the water filling up the bowl. It means there's a leak in the flapper(the white thing of yours at the bottom of the tank). When the water level gets to a certain point, it causes the water to kick in and fill the bowl.

If you rent, call the landlord. If you own, go to Lowes/Home Depot, and buy a $15 kit to replace all of it. The big black floater in your pic is an old style. Get a newer one installed. Toilet stuff is a very simple fix.

Loved it but was incredibly hard. One of those games I'd use a game genie with to experience all the levels. There was even one level you could only access with cheats. You walked around the game studios office meeting the programmers and a floating head would try to kill you.

Neat to know. Unfortunately, it looks like that first game lost the license to the Bally tables 5 years ago. It looks like a LOT of the tables have been de-listed over the years but I guess that's unsurprising given the nature of such licenses and the age of the game.

I'll definitely take a look at that and the other series regardless, as I honestly didn't know that these were a thing. Thanks for the info.

Yeah I don't keep up with which games have what licenses. I was able to get all 100 tables for the first game so I'm good. Can't really go into specifics with that though. >_>

Ugh, I'm real jealous. I haven't played it in years. Last two times I found the machine, the toilet lid and Kenny barely worked.

Funny that you mention real pinball machines because this topic made me think about the old Elvira: Mistress of the Dark pinball machine from local bowling alleys and how I kind of wish they had digital versions of that and some other classic 80s/90s machines.

The Pinball Arcade game has that machine along with a ton of others. They've lost the license to a lot of them over the years so idk how many are still available. The game released ~100 tables in total.

There are other digital collections like Stern Pinball arcade and this Pinball FX series with recreations of real tables.

Why is this not based on the real SP pinball machine? There's never been a digital version of that game.

Interesting movie that wears it's inspirations on its sleeve. Early career Rainn Wilson, and introduction of some decent characters. Ultimately, poorly executed and a number of ideas didn't pan out well.

Completely overshadowed by The Devil's Rejects, which is likely Rob Zombie's only decent movie.

This. The editing in corpses is awful. I know it's intentionally bad but they didn't have to make it that bad with the random zoom ins and firefly home footage cut aways.

That's a really cool sugar spoon.

Played all three Strike games as a kid but never really enjoyed them. I didn't care for the mission structure at that age. I just wanted to fly around and blow stuff up.

This is illegal in VA. Landlords can only legally enter an apartment for certain reasons and even then they have to provide at least 24 hour notice unless it's an emergency.

Nah. The third one was a mess. Combine that with how much time has passed and it would end up awful.

Only real noteable U games are Urban Strike and Ultimate MK3

I didn't play it until I was an adult but I had the second game which I LOVED. I know a lot of people hated it cause it changed the gameplay into a standard platformer. Still, the music and wacky designs were top notch.
