The Inside Man

Well, to tell you the truth, I thought about going back to Ni no Kuni recently. And I ultimately decided against it because I didn't like the combat. The little arena where you throw your guys and do your attacks and all that kind of bothered me, and by the time I hit the port town where you get the ship, I was getting to my wit's end. I don't mean to criticize; I understand that it's just not for me, and the system is probably robust and all sorts of fun for people who click with it. But it felt more like busywork to me.

Don't like stuffed crust.

Final Act is decent. The main show peaked around season 4 though.

At least we are seeing a bit of a normalisation of the market. I saw Suikoden 2 CIB for $600 Canadian a couple of years ago, and now you can get it for $250 to $350. Still far more than $192 I paid for mine 10 years ago, but you know.

I used to go by 10 years as the rule but I feel like now 15 years makes more sense because technology and game design aren't changing as quickly now as they were in the 90s and early 2000s.

It's more that that's the narrative that they pushed. When it comes to prices increasing they have a clear disconnect with actual sales. Heck, ignoring Wata's own market manipulation (such as their attempt to buy out Mario 3) the actual sales going on for said retro games really didn't change all that much. What did was the enormous price spikes that happened to every game released in English, and in particular ones that released in America.

Naw, it wasn't Covid that caused the balloon. It was the proliferation of the grading of games though a group that actively attempted to manipulate the market.

I sold my copy of Path of Radiance maybe 5 years ago and I did not get 350 dollars for it and I refuse to accept that anyone else did cause then I will have to confront the idea I make poor choices in my life.

I know they aren't landing most of the hits. The kick around 0:39 in OP obviously didn't hit her. I had last watched wrestling around 1999 to around the time Brock Lesner beat up the one legged guy. Maybe a part of the difference was the announcing. Announcing in OP doesn't get me as excited as or laugh like JR saying as God as my witness he is broken in half. Or the reaction to the it was me Austin all along.
