It would be practically impossible for him to show less nerves. The funny thing is we agree on what scum sultan would do as opposed to town sultan but you are claiming he showed nerve when I completely disagree.

Feels like he was doing exactly what I said he was doing and felt too much pressure when people poked holes in it. Didn't get a read on me didn't get a read on red didn't get a read on Ulti. Seem important things to get reads on-- me being a person he suspects, red he was doubting the claim, and Ulti suspecting him.

I still don't fully trust Mzero but I trust Ulti. Willing to go for it, and if Mzero is in fact town his d1 accuracy is p good. I'm OK with lynching Sultan today.

Honestly Sultan's vote on me feels a little opportunistic considering my play style thus far and me and Ulti connecting a bit.

Now if Ulti convinces me that Sultan is in fact a better lynch than Death it looks like I'm countervoting Sultan.

So what's the alternative. If Sultan was town he'd propose that red was making up hammerer gimmick entirely and was scum aligned rather than suggesting scum aligned hammer?

I'm not entirely sure I follow your exact logic but the post did jump out at me when he made it as odd.

There are angles I'm seeing. Like perhaps scum has a hammerer role of its own that powers up or perhaps he was hunting 3p (the latter is something I've been sitting on for a bit-- that's why I'm inherently sus of people who didn't like Red's claim early but did nothing about it)

You should explain for me though. It seems smarter when you explain it.

I am the only one who wanted that and it's not logical that there would be any time gating element if he doesn't immediately die for not hammering. The hammer itself is a power up you don't need power ups on top of power ups.

Thus to me (and sbell) it reads as "I agree we would want to give him the hammer at some point, but we don't want him powered up tonight" which is ridiculous for town to say and you tried to backpedal it to mean "literally tonight as in a few hours from now"

Why phrase it that way if you meant tonight. Why specify not ending the day early. Also why would you feel a need to specify we shouldn't end the day early to begin with?

Now that I'm actually thinking about it I do prefer just lynching red outright to "testing" it. It seems there is pretty much no benefit to testing if red dies because if he doesn't die we just lynch him tomorrow.

So now I'm torn if Corrik gets the town points or Dumey gets the town points.

And now I'm like maybe red just is third party here and we lynch him.

We have literally seen scum hammerers at least twice in recent memory. I don't think not jumping immediately to third party is a point against anyone.

And ultimately why I veer towards giving Corrik the points is because scum is scared of uttering the word third party because you've got a bunch of people pointing and saying "HE SAID IT! SCUM!" by default. But there is a natural reason to consider why he might say it as third party

But then now I'm less sure of my town clear of Wallz as well since HE did a lot of thinking about Red's role and even suggested "scum team might have put him up to it" but he also did not say third party at all.

We throw Corrik in the town pile too. We also throw more suspicion on those who do not believe the claim yet did not reach this line. I believe Dumey and Lea are in this category right now.

I also kinda don't think a miller exists in a setup where a town member can die for not hammering too but that's too deep into setup meta this early into the game I think

I don't think my role fits my flavor like yours does and I feel like miller roles generally haven't been fitting flavor lately.

Also on a non-powerup level we really should have a scum picked way before end of day because it's way too easy to create a situation where it becomes implausible for red to hammer if we wait till end of day and scramble around like headless chickens.

I think I'm cool with Dumey, Mzero, Mattress lynches right now without reading a lot into who is suspecting me. Dumey not for suspecting me as much as him trying to pair me and red before suspecting me. Seems like pointless thought experiment. Also for posting a lot of words about red without saying as much as wallz who posted way less words. Sbell is also a decent pick because he's exactly the type of scum profile I'd expect to claim miller early and the flavor feels really on the nose.

I will say I think at least someone calling me scummy right now is probably scum reading the room too. While I do not think I am being especially townish right now saying I am some sorta mustache twirler for suggesting we try to speed run day 1 is silly

that being said I agree with mzero theres no need to rush day, and I agree with ctes on finding it a little odd Lopen took off with the whole rush day to unlock a power thing. If red is telling the truth and if he will gain a power then Lopen isnt really even considering the possibility red will unlock said power simply by surviving to d2.
