He also makes mention throughout the series of having helped the Axis during the war (e.g. in "A Star is Burns", he tries to get Spielberg's non-union Mexican equivalent to direct his biopic for a film festival, and explicitly compares himself to Oskar Schindler in that they're both factory owners and they "both made shells for the Nazis, but [Burns' artillery shells] worked, damn it!" during the pitch).

Mr. Burns was also once said to have orchestrated the Opium War of 1839-1842, a 19th Century woodcut depicts him terrorizing children while looking no younger than he is today, he uses his current age for his ATM PIN in one episode and the first number he pushed wasn't 0, and another episode claims his birthplace as Pangaea (the supercontinent that began to break apart 200 million years ago), all of which makes him impossibly old.

Abe Simpson is still a WWII vet, and Seymour Skinner is still a 'Nam vet. The two of them (and Agnes Skinner by extension) just retroactively become older and older as the show goes on and the sliding timescale stretches further and further into the future. If The Simpsons keeps going long enough, then eventually, Grampa and Principal Skinner will be the last living survivors of their respective wars in-universe.

Don't know. All the rodent problems we've had, as far as I can remember, happened in our garage, which (unlike most garages) isn't connected to our house, so I don't think they've ever so much as seen a mouse since the day they came home. They do hunt bugs and one of them tries to hunt for the birds beyond the patio door, so I'm confident they could still kill any mice or rats that managed to get in despite a lack of direct experience.

Chances are, my family's cats will find and kill it before we even know it's there.

On a second playthrough, you can get a secret darker ending. And if you unlock one of the secret weapons, you can get another, much goofier secret ending by killing enough monsters with it before coming back home.

On a sadder note, though, although Douglas survived the game, his VA didn't live to see the game's release, as he died a month before its initial release.
