Huh, I suppose that makes sense. I always thought he had some rare mutation that allowed him to taste sweetness (and whatever it was in hazelnuts that he liked). I suppose it doesn't matter now, though, seeing has he's been gone for quite a while.

Cats can't taste sweet, likely because they are obligate carnivores so have no need to detect those types of food.

My family used to have a cat who would straight-up steal Twinkies and eat them if you left them unattended and not in a container, but, as you said, he shouldn't have been able to taste them. He did the same thing with hazelnuts as well, for some reason, and IIRC, cats shouldn't be able to taste those either. Is there some possible reason why he might have done that?

Loki is primarily set within the TVA's headquarters, which explicitly exists outside of the "Sacred Timeline" (the MCU), and deals with alternate timelines that branch off from the Sacred Timeline. The Loki variant we follow throughout isn't the Loki of the MCU, who died in Infinity War, but one who diverged from that history during the events of The Avengers (as shown in Endgame and the start of his series).

What If? is all about timelines that branched off from the MCU at various points. None of them are the MCU itself.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness starts and ends in the MCU, but Stephen Strange, America Chavez, and Wanda Maximoff all cross universes throughout most of the movie.

The various alternate universes on display in those works (as well as those shown in the Spider-Verse movies, the Venom/Morbius universe, the other Spider-Man movie universes that the villains and other Spideys came from in No Way Home, etc.) are not themselves the MCU, but they have ties to the MCU, and they all share the Marvel Multiverse.

Technically no, but only because the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a universe, not a multiverse (the Marvel Multiverse has been long established to contain the Spider-Verse universes, the MCU, the comics, the cartoons, the video games, etc.). As such, I don't consider Loki, What If?, and most of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to be part of the MCU, because they clearly aren't in that universe.

They only used actual construction paper in the two "The Spirit of Christmas" shorts ("Jesus vs. Frosty" and "Jesus vs. Santa") that preceded the series proper, and the show's pilot episode, "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". Every episode since has been completely animated on computers, although they have switched animation software over the years.

Hopefully they learned from the 80's cartoon and the CDI games (did Link speak in those?) not to let third parties have fundamental influences over one of their most successful franchises.

Nintendo was heavily involved with Illumination's Mario movie, in order to avoid it becoming the same kind of disaster that the '93 Mario movie was, so I suspect they're going to be just as involved with the Zelda movie, if not moreso.

As though the earlier generations didn't have stuff like Sesame Street and Schoolhouse Rock doing the exact same thing.

Between the higher-ups (particularly then-Commissioner Gillian Loeb) being in bed with the mafia families and the rank-and-file cops and SWAT being brutal psychos, Batman: Year One shows pretty handily why Batman didn't exactly make a habit out of calling the cops. Then-Lieutenant Jim Gordon and Sarah Essen seem to be the only cops in all of Gotham to not be total bastards, and even then, Gordon ends up cheating on his wife with Essen during the comic.

Even years later, in Gotham Central, Commissioner Gordon has so far only really been able to clean up the Major Crimes Unit; the rest of the GCPD firmly remain bastards, to the point that the FBI listed it as the second-most-corrupt police department in the US (1st place goes to that of Hub City, original home of The Question; Hub City makes Gotham look like Metropolis in just about every possible way, by sheer comparison).

Usually 20 in most countries, although the US and the EU are allowed to tack on up to five extra years if the pharmaceutical companies can meet specific goals (e.g. doing clinical trials on kids).

It is a pill (and that's the kind I have), but you can also get it as a topical cream or gel to be used with itches and hives. Apparently, in Australia and New Zealand, it's sold as a cough syrup instead.

Because with the official stuff, you're paying for the label, the ad campaign, and the executive bonuses. The Walmart brand is cheaper because Claritin (or its generic name, Loratadine) has existed long enough for the patent to expire, thus allowing Walmart to undercut the company that owns the "official" drug.

It did kill Gawker Media, but then Univision bought every site under its umbrella except Gawker itself, and added The Onion and The AV Club (which Univision already owned) to the group under the name "Gizmodo Media". Gizmodo Media then got sold to a private equity firm in 2019 and rebranded as "G/O Media".

In general, non-drowsy allergy medicine doesn't really seem to work for me. It's why I keep some store-brand, generic-Benadryl by my bedside.
