I've thought about law school my whole life, I just wasn't sure I wanted to go right after 4 years of college. I generally know what the practice of law entails.

If I only got accepted into 'middler' institutions then I simply wouldn't go to law school. Can't say this without arrogant but based on my life in academics and my work on official practice tests, I'm confident I'd score ~99th percentile

What makes Otto's Irresistable Dance 6th level while Hold Monster is 5th level? They both target 'Creature', they both use a WIS save. But Hold completely disables actions and makes attacks against the target auto-crit. Considering what I'm hearing about Dance in BG3 I guess I'm asking this about 5e tabletop

Moral relativism is subjective, as it depends on each individual person and their choices.
Not quite.

https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/moral-anti-realism/
Second, it is worth stating explicitly that moral anti-realism is not a form of moral relativismor, perhaps more usefully noted: that moral relativism is not a form of moral anti-realism. Moral relativism is a form of cognitivism according to which moral claims contain an indexical element, such that the truth of any such claim requires relativization to some individual or group. According to a simple form of relativism, the claim Stealing is morally wrong might be true when one person utters it, and false when someone else utters it. The important thing to note is that this would not necessarily make moral wrongness non-objective. For example, suppose someone were to make the relativistic claim that different moral values, virtues, and duties apply to different groups of people due to, say, their social caste. If this person were asked in virtue of what these relativistic moral facts obtain, there is nothing to prevent them offering the full-blooded realist answer: Its just the way the universe objectively is. Relativism does not stand opposite objectivism; it stands opposite absolutism (the form of cognitivism according to which the truth of moral claims does not require relativization to any individual or group). One can be both a moral relativist and a moral objectivist (and thus a moral realist); conversely, one can be both a moral non-objectivist (and thus a moral anti-realist) and a moral absolutist.

IMO the term "signature move" doesn't carry as much weight in Gen I because the Pokmon pool was small enough such that you can want a Pokemon to have a move that simply doesn't fit on any other mon. Once you have 500 pokemon or a thousand it becomes more noteworthy that only one Pokmon can use a particular move.

I never watched the anime but I read the manga up until MC's hair turns white and he decides not to come back to the cafe

It was signaling a hard turn into Shonen battle focus with the stuff like "I'll break half of the bones in your body" and what I liked about the series was him exploring human-ghoul relations. What defined early Tokyo Ghoul to me was that the climax of arcs was really when characters found the strength to reject violence rather than indulge in it or believe it inevitable.

perspective of a Ghoul hunting team and one of the characters is a girl that looks like a guy. she has short messy white hair and red tattoos on her body.
This had been established for a little bit before where I stopped. I'm pretty sure it's a guy that looks like a girl though, at least in the manga...

They should have just changed Minsc to a barbarian. The only reason he was a ranger in the original games was because Barbarian didn't exist as its own class in 2e. I don't remember if the barbarian fight kit even existed when BG1 came out. But in 5e he really doesn't fit as a ranger at all.
It fits him well to be a Beast Master, on the other hand. Although maybe Boo is the master...

They did a good job with portraying Minsc imo. Looks great, sounds great, funny yet charismatic.

On the other hand I feel like Jaheira totally overshadowed Halsin, which is unfortunate because I think Halsin is cool. One thing is he should've been possible to join your party since Act 1 IMO. He basically joins you on the premise of doing one quest (albeit his big quest) in act 2 and then his story is done. I realize that he has less connections to the party due to not having a parasite and his responsibilities in druid society, but still, I like him and it just feels like more time was spent on the other druid.

Hate to double post, but a lot of this game is about dealing with shit rolls. Sometimes you get screwed and the fun is how you adapt to being put in a place of disadvantage (unless you party wipe, then yeah, reload is good).
It's fine in combat, less so when the player just wants something fun to happen but there's rolls in the way. Over the board, a savvy DM can direct situations such that the players have fun in any situation. It's more inflexible in a video game system.

DnD's interactions can get complex and you can accidentally screw yourself with misclicks in BG3 (eg you can't undo movement which is a limited resource per turn). HOWEVER that should really only matter on Tactical IMO. I've played the whole game on Tactical and it's very manageable. I have over the board experience, but I think 'Balanced' should be just fine for a newcomer.

You're a liar if you think nobody thinks about "morality" when talking about murder.
Since you don't seem to be here to speak in good faith based on the rest of your post (we all just have "shallow interpretations"), I'm going to respond to this and then move on from you, since it's a topic of interest of me. I didn't say people don't think about morality when talking about murder. I said that the origin of laws is in order & stability. As in, at the anthropological level. Morality is often a perceived positive byproduct of laws, but it is not usually the purpose of laws.

It's true that many people observe the proceedings of courts and the law and make judgments on their outcomes and effectiveness based on their moral beliefs. That's not how courts determine verdicts, though. The jury isn't called to determine whether the defendant's action produced more moral good than bad, they're called to decide the facts of the case, whether the defendant acted in a way that violates a statute as written. Many, many times in history and today, the application of that statute is not decisively moral.

Is the death penalty moral? There's certainly arguments on both sides of the issue as to whether it is (strange that). But there's just as much argument about whether the death penalty is effective. When it comes to many sets of commerce laws, morality is nearly or entirely absent from the discussion.
