I'm mostly struggling because despite having XQ, Yelan, and now Furina, my only real driver is Childe whose uptime isn't great when he's not doing International. Maybe that can work for everything besides the shields? Still got 36* with a bad taser team on front half but it took forever and I'll have to come up with something different next time.

One of the tricks I learned was that only some of the enemies aggro on to the tower and the rest onto you, so it's more important to pick off the ones attacking the tower ASAP rather than trying to draw them away or bunch all the enemies together. Especially when it spawns a bunch of ranged enemies or something. There's also no time limit so it doesn't matter how long it takes to kill off the ones attacking you, and you can stall and recharge bursts between waves.
Oh and blooms can damage the tower so you have to be a little careful with that...rip to Nilou users --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! |

Regardless I don't think self-publishing BG3 is enough for even a big indie production when it's a licensed game getting a ton of help from outside the video game industry from Hasbro. I'm not sure what experience people had playing the Alan Wake DLC in Control without having played the original, but I feel like the onboarding is waaaay better here. Baldur's Gate 3 Alan Wake 2 Armored Core 6 Starfield Spider-Man 2 The Keighleighs are all about industry recognition and marketing. You have 3 slots for the big 3's major launches (Bethesda is Microsoft now and regardless of how you feel about its quality, Starfield sold very well). FromSoft is a huge player now and specifically the VGAs have been a major part of hyping them up. They are probably going to show an Elden Ring DLC trailer. AC6 is going to get a goty nom. BG3 is a lock, that leaves one free slot which I'm giving to Alan Wake 2 due to recency bias. I havent hit the point threshold for the last reward on the first two yet and I dunno how much of it is the path Im picking vs my character builds (or lack of) I think it depends more on your team comp and builds. Hunt is generically good but you really want something with good synergy that can complement a strong team. For example in my experience, Kafka dot teams tend to just annihilate most things on Nihility. The turn limit seems to discourage certain paths, and favor ones with lots of burst damage. I tried Elation with Topaz for example and it's hard to trigger followups with Himeko or Clara quickly enough. Abundance seems like it would suck, and Preservation and Rememberance probably very dependent on getting the big burst builds with them. It is the kind of game where your mileage will vary based on what kind of stuff you've played. If you are a BIG card game and board game fan, you will definitely find it lacking, because it simplifies a lot of mechanics in superior games. But it's made to appeal to a casual fanbase that hasn't really discovered that type of game yet. Think of it as a watered down version of MTG, mixed with those mobile escape room games from 15 years ago. It is better or worse depending on your prior history in the strategy card game genre. I strongly disagree. Inscryption is a love letter to those bigger card games like MTG and Hearthstone and remixes their mechanics in fun and interesting ways (even if it doesn't have the depth of any of them individually) while doing its own thing at the same time. You get more milage from it having played the stuff it's referencing, not less. I don't think it makes sense to directly compare Inscryption to other card games in a vacuum of pure game mechanics...and it misses the point of the game. That said, I voted for Outer Wilds DLC. The Musketeer set is a good placeholder on DPS but you're also getting those from weekly bosses. So you only need a few pieces there and it depends on your other sets. It's still a solid domain because most of them kinda suck...
I think I'd recommend starting at the hackerspace domain because the speed and HP sets are both good on healers and hackerspace can also be used on harmony buffers or as a 2pc on practically everyone including your DPS. Also don't forget about crafting/resin, I would dump all the extra relics and shards from event currency into your Jingliu's relics while you farm other stuff. Dunno what specifically she wants but resin is best used on stuff like speed boots, crit body, and element orb (plus ER rope but most dps don't want that) and the hands and hat you can roll for. --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! |

I do wonder if Himeko will have synergy with that Ruan Mei ability or that rumored Break Effect trailblazer form. That would also make her LC way better because it triggers on Break. I'll watch it, but I'm wondering what they'll change from the original. There is still no sign of Lisa Miller which tbh is the biggest and most important possible change they could have made, so at this point I'm thinking they're not going to do much besides giving the Envy and Roxy plotlines more time to breathe (which is also very needed) --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! |
