Almost all caught up. Just the Planar event left. But with my teams still capped at 60, I think i'll just get the primos at this point.

Swarm Disaster level 4 beated. Don't think I'm beating the last difficulty level any time soon though because this was only with some serious abuse of the blessing that gives you extra turns from weakness breaks, and I still only won by the skin of my teeth.

Alright. Should hit Equilibrium 4 today, in time for the double up event. To start grinding artifacts, cus I'm still all 4 stars, I'm feeling like the healer/musketeer domain would be the one for a beginner. Healers staying alive seems like the most important.

it's at least worth considering running the messenger set (+SPD) on your healers, and a LOT of characters want that set. healers don't mind the two-piece HP% from that same cavern, too

it also shouldn't take that much investment to keep your healers alive? if they're dying a lot, though, i agree that it is bad

you probably get more bang for your buck investing in your DPSes first? but there aren't a lot of DPS relic caverns where both sets are good. i think the quantum one is the closest

Would not recommend the Healer set cavern. It's pretty much the Luocha Cavern lol.

You get Musketeer pieces from other sources as well, healers also get a boost in healing from the HP Set and the HP/Speed cavern is much more valuable.

Even if you do want to stock up on a bunch of Musketeer pieces for 2 piece attack sets, the effect of the 2-piece DoT set in the new Cavern for 1.5 is identical to the 2-piece Musketeer, and that's going to be a much more future proofed cavern to run.

Well as someone that hasn't even started getting 5 star artifacts, where do I start? Ice domain for Jingliu or speed domain? Building for Jingliu seems incredible inefficient at this point.

Yes and no, the 2pc of the healing set is good but the 4pc sucks. The Musketeer set is a good placeholder on DPS but you're also getting those from weekly bosses. So you only need a few pieces there and it depends on your other sets. It's still a solid domain because most of them kinda suck...

I think I'd recommend starting at the hackerspace domain because the speed and HP sets are both good on healers and hackerspace can also be used on harmony buffers or as a 2pc on practically everyone including your DPS.

Also don't forget about crafting/resin, I would dump all the extra relics and shards from event currency into your Jingliu's relics while you farm other stuff. Dunno what specifically she wants but resin is best used on stuff like speed boots, crit body, and element orb (plus ER rope but most dps don't want that) and the hands and hat you can roll for.

Double Planars starts tomorrow.

Probably going to go half and half for Salsotto and Arena. Space Station is going to become...irrelevant is the wrong word, just like you can still go Vonwacq you can still go Space Station, but options that are mostly better versions of both will be hitting soon.

Oh, yeah, naw it's Planars. Best to grind are definitely World 6 and 7 for now. World 3 is still valuable but not as valuable with the upcoming world, and worlds 4 and 5 are basically worthless. I don't think the Break Effect Orbs are even worth it for a Break Effect build, it's easy enough to get EHR without the EHR orbs, Vonwacq is good but there's gonna be new one with the same main effect soon, and the Crit Damage Orb is a fucking joke.

The stream was pretty barebones in terms of details. I think some stuff was cut because the Genshin Livestream started literally the second this one ended.

So the banners are:
Huohuo first half with Dan Heng/Serval/Arlan
Argenti and Silver Wolf second half with Hanya/Lynx/Asta

Mid 4 star selection on the spotlight sustain character, insane lineup for the mid erudition and rerun. Classic.

I suppose my plan is to go for the 50/50 on Huohuo, then I'll have to figure out if I want to dump the rest on Silver Wolf or save for Ruan Mei.

My personal hope is to pull for a bunch of Hanya on the SW banner and lose the 50/50. I wouldn't MIND winning the 50/50, though.

Silver Wolf is just a lot less important now that I have a decent diversity of options besides Seele. And my Seele has a decent build but has been really struggling to keep up with all these new enemies that summon waves and waves of adds.

I still haven't been able to full clear MoC yet. These last few cycles have been a bitch, and sustain is an issue. At this point I'm seriously considering dusting off fire trailblazer.

Guess I'll probably pull some on the second banner. I don't currently want Argenti but I do kind of want Hanya, and I definitely won't say no to Lynx eidolons or the off-chance of a Silver Wolf eidolon.

Trailer looks interesting. I've been wanting the main story to explore a bit more in the cosmic sci-fi direction so I'm hoping that's what the beginning is suggesting.

It's looking like this may still not be Penacolony.

If 1.6 really is the last patch until 2.0 than I can't image we'd really dig into the new zone until 2.0, but with Dr Ratio in 1.6 there must be some build up side area stuff on the way there.

I really want Dan Heng eidolons, but I don't care about Huo Huo at all so I'll probably pass. Might do a few pulls on the Argenti banner since the 4*s seem solid, and I wouldn't mind an Argenti, even if he's inessential.

All the short hair girls look great. Hoyoverse absolutely killing it. I know gachas print money like crazy, but these guys could start making standard non-gacha JRPGs and likely do very very well too

I hate the SU7 deer. I still cant consistently beat it even, but ah well got my 10k points still anyways. No good Relics for Jingliu yet even with the double drops

Hunt felt by far the best though I don't think I tried Elation or Nihility.

Been going for Quantum pieces and I am in awe of how many 4 line EHR/ERR/Def%/HP% pieces I've been getting for the Guard set.

I mean it's not an exciting set to grind for, but I certainly won't be left wanting for the characters that do want it.

I think it depends more on your team comp and builds. Hunt is generically good but you really want something with good synergy that can complement a strong team. For example in my experience, Kafka dot teams tend to just annihilate most things on Nihility.

The turn limit seems to discourage certain paths, and favor ones with lots of burst damage. I tried Elation with Topaz for example and it's hard to trigger followups with Himeko or Clara quickly enough. Abundance seems like it would suck, and Preservation and Rememberance probably very dependent on getting the big burst builds with them.

I'm waiting until reset to do the last two stages though so idk for sure

Maybe it's coloured by my own experiences but the Hunt path isn't as universally useful as it's reputation suggests. I think it's very strongly reliant on having good dps units and an offensive team comp, since if you don't beat bosses quickly they'll just steamroll you by the time they reach their third health bar. The Nihility is by far the easiest to win with, even without Kafka, since the DoTs get absurdly strong. Remembrance can also be run with 3 decent units and an invested March, since if she's fast enough with high enough EHR you can just perma-freeze bosses and chunk them with the Dissociation debuff.

Preservation was definitely not good for the event and I technically didn't try Abundance but would be shocked if it's any different. I was never in any remote danger of dying even with the most offensive paths so I just don't see the point. Maybe there's something to trying a Preservation/Abundance run with no sustain characters at all but I suspect that still wouldn't outdamage a good Hunt composition.

I don't think Hunt is necessarily the best generically but for the purposes of this event it just feels like the clear winner with the combination of a turn limit and you being comparatively overleveled. I could see Nihility with Kafka also being good but I don't have Kafka so haven't been able to try it.

For the first two stages at least I guess Im best off just benching March and keeping Nat as my solo support/sustain character. For stage 2 Ill probably run Kafka/Qingque/Asta/Nat and see how that goes. Id have my Jingliu ready if I could get any goddamn Relics that arent HP/DEF/Outgoing Healing :(

Your issue here might be QQ honestly. This looks like an SP-heavy team and Kafka should be hitting Skill literally every turn which doesn't leave much for QQ or Asta who also tends to spam skill.

I'd suggest another dot support like Sampo (her ideal teammate atm) or Luka/Guinaifen. OR you do Kafka hypercarry with Tingyun buffing her.

Jingliu with Rememberance and Hunt did it for me.

Yeah there's really no reason to Kafka + QQ, there's no synergy there. You can't always just go by the elemental weakness as the primary decision maker.

QQ either wants to be a Hypercarry or a Main DPS. Kafka typically only wants to be a Main DPS.

I dont have Sampo, Luka or Guinaifen built. I thought Guinaifen wanted an upcoming Relic set too like Topaz?

All the DoT character want the new 4 piece relic set, so yeah it's a tough sell to try and argue building Relics that are going to be tossed in a week and a half.

In terms of people wanting a 4 piece, it's going to be the most universally applicable DPS set in the game.

Although that's mostly because they've already filled out the DoT type pool.
