I don't know what's going on anymore, and don't want to jump to conclusions.
Prigo planning this for months and going this far, it seems unbelievable he'd just give up.

Did Putin agree to let him take over if Putin can escape to Venezuela?
Was this all some ruse to bait Ukraine into attacking and exposing themselves to a prepared counter-attack? (I'd totally believe Putin sacrificing some of his own soldiers to sell the ruse)
Was this all some ruse to use as a surprise "loyalty test" to see who'd flee like rats, who'd backstab Putin, and who'd stand by him, so he could then clean house, Xi Xinping style?

The current narrative that Prigo went this far, then said, "never mind, we cool" is more ludicrous than any of the above.

The frontline troops would have to catch up with Wagner while leaving Ukraine pretty much undefended, so Putin puts his hope on what he got in Moscow and on the way to Moscow.
Besides, there is a change that the soldiers pulled from Ukraine will join Wagner.
It'd actually be super easy, barely an inconvenience for Russian forces on the Ukraine front and Putin.
All the forces in Moscow have to do is hold up their defensive positions for a week, and all the forces in Ukraine have to do is be loyal to Putin.
Then the Ukraine forces could "encircle the encirclement" and put Wagner in a pincer.

But unfortunately for Putler, his troops are fucking cowards and have no loyalty to him. Moscow will fall pathetically easily, and any returning troops are more likely to join the winning side than help Putler.

The U.S. and NATO need to carefully track every flight out of Russia to other countries, then get "boots on the ground" to track where these nazis flee from there and hunt them down for trial at the Hague (or end them if they try to resist).
I don't want another "nazis lounging in South America for decades" situation. Putin especially, he already is proven to have body doubles and will undoubtedly try to use them to obscure his true destination.

For Ukraine, I hope Putin pulls back his troops and gives them a huge opportunity to take back land easily. I'm honestly disappointed that Prigo's basically had the red carpet rolled out for him and Kremlin cronies are already fleeing rather than fighting. Shockingly real risk that emperor Putler will be fully replaced in less than a week by an equally evil shit bag, with little to no change in Russian troop strength or positioning.

How come you see student loan forgiveness as fucking over people who it doesnt affect? I dont have any student loan debt but I absolutely want this because it will help a lot of people.

we pay taxes that go to so many shitty things, and now we have our taxes going to something that will actually help people I know, I dont see that as me getting fucked over
Because a lot of economics is a zero sum game whether you care to admit it or not.
I finally got a house after many years of saving up, but had the misfortune of doing so during the peak of the market. People had fat stimulus checks and even fatter unemployment booster checks (often paying more than their jobs did*) and they plowed that fucking money into housing. And I ended up paying probably 50% more for my house because of it, putting me in a huge mortgage that will be tough to pay off.
So no. Millions of other Americans in my age range getting a free $10K or $20K boost in their disposable consumer spending will factually set me further back. It will not "help" me in some sort of "life all boats" manner.
Why does it have to be student debt cancellation? Why can't it just be stimulus for everyone under a certain income, to use on student debt, to pay towards finally getting a degree in your 40's, or whatever else? The proponents of the student debt cancellation can never answer that. Because they want to increase their purchasing power relative to the rest of us, but don't want to say it out loud. Then try to gaslight and project on the rest of us that we're the ones being selfish.

* Quick math b/c I'm sick of showing it only to be ignored. Say you made $15/hr, worked 40 hr per week, and your state pays 50% of your income as unemployment insurance (varies by state, but it's usually ~ 1/2). So you made $600 per week working. You now get $300 plus the federal boost (first $600, then $400 later), for a total of $900 or $700... for NOT working.

I'd honestly rather have no student debt "forgiveness" so those who didn't even go to college and statistically earn less than those who did don't get fucked over, than get the money.

If Biden wants to do a general "stimulus" hand-out where everyone under a certain income gets the money, to spend on student loans or whatever the fuck else they want, it'd be far more fair and beneficial to society than the student debt cancellation he's pushing.
I'd be ok w/ that, even if the income limits were so low that I didn't qualify for it (I easily was within the income limits for the pandemic stimulus, which is literally half the limit Biden had for the student debt cancellation). At least it'd be targeted at the poorest and going to the people who need the help the most. Married couples making a combined $200+K can fuck right off with these hand outs, and don't blame me for setting the income limits so high, that was all Biden.

Cause apparently the "immoral" system is ok when perpetrated on those that worked their asses off and put off travel and getting a house.

So you agree, bankruptcy should no longer be a thing and every person and business that has declared it should be forced to pay it back in order to honor the original contracts they signed.
Student loans explicitly are near-impossible to discharge in bankruptcy. Those are the terms those loans were made under, and the only reason such ludicrously large amounts of money were given to people w/ little to no credit history and collateral.
It's extremely disingenuous to compare that to loans where the prospect of bankruptcy is included and thus limits the amount to be lended (and often also includes repossession of homes, cars, office buildings, etc...).

Mind you, student loans should be dis-chargeable in bankruptcy. I'd love it if every new student loan could be... why? Because then the amounts of those loans would be massively reduced, students couldn't afford the ludicrous amounts these luxury colleges charge b/c they can get away with it, and the root of the entire fucking problem would be fixed.
Democrats used to fight to fix the root issue. But now they're too steeped in w/ moneyed college interests that like the endless flow of easy money, so instead of fighting to change how student loans are made, they just want to give some token hand outs to keep the corrupt system rolling along.

And yes, Republicans have always been awful. I don't even expect them to fix anything, I just vote against them and hope they fall out of power. It's frustrating that the party I vote in to fix shit doesn't actually fix it.

The player takes on the role of an unjustly executed man, who pleads to the forces of darkness to spare his life at the moment of his demise. Satan grants his request, and gives him command over the 'Castle of the Damned'. Many visitors are drawn to the fortress: some for power, some for salvation, and some for something as simple as shelter.

Technically not a ghost, but your character is executed and revived, and the gameplay is basically like you're a ghost -- can't directly attack at all and can't leave the castle you "haunt", you can only lead intruders into death traps you set up within the castle.

I don't think chain binding was supposed to be something you're constantly doing in combat. It fails to even hold the same enemy after you use it on them like 3 times. So yeah, it's tricky, but IMO it's meant to be more of an opportunistic deal, like when you and your legion happen to be positioned almost in a full wrap around the enemy(ies) anyway, and you just flick the joystick to complete the circle. Chain binding is actually way more useful for the stealth sections than it is for combat
If you level up your X-baton and your legion skills, you'll eventually get a ton of ways to trigger sync attacks w/ the legion, which is the main benefit of the chain bind more so than the brief immobilization (since the hold time decreases so fast w/ each use).
When you get the beast legion you'll get a Howl ability that disables enemies better than chain binding, and when you get the axe legion you'll get a shield ability to absorb 3 hits. Both will help a lot defensively in the ways you're probably relying upon the chain binding now.

I wish they'd start implementing saltwater batteries where they make sense. I'd gladly stick a giant saltwater battery in my basement as a solar cell backup storage method. Nor do I need the personal experience of being used for a free meal when I know and have heard of it happening to so many other guys.
Believe it or not, I wish feminism actually lived up to the advertising. It'd be great if these strong, independent, successful women were happy to date guys who make less money and take on a domestic role in a relationship.
But that's not reality. Women complain they can't "have it all" (successful career and someone to provide for them if they want to start a family) and have to choose. Meanwhile, men don't even get a choice. You fucking work, or you die alone and hungry.

Guarantee I had much more success than this guy. Sounds a little red pilled
I'm happily married. My first dates w/ my wife were her coming over to my dorm to watch anime with me, and when we went to restaurants, she paid about as often as me. Really let me know she was actually interested in me.
Stay bitter.

Enigma

  • MCMXC a.D. (1990)
  • The Cross of Changes (1993)
  • Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! (1996)
  • The Screen Behind the Mirror (2000)
  • Love, Sensuality, Devotion (2001)
And if the last doesn't count b/c it's mostly remixes of prior songs, then:
  • Voyageur (2003)
Was a decent if not great album, too.
And Michael Cretu worked on a bunch of other phenominal albums for other artists during that period too, including a bunch with Sandra Cretu, Hubert Kah, Maggie Reilly, and more... and also put out Trance Atlantic Air Waves.

That man sounds like a huge asshole if he knew his wife was having issues with Boebert and completely dismissed her concerns so much that he was willing to lose his marriage over it.

lol
The double standards are incredible.
When it's a woman owning the business that later becomes a member of Congress seducing one of her subordinates, it's "wow, he sounds like an ass hole"
When you flip the genders, people can't go 10 seconds without screaming, "power imbalance!"

Sounds like Boebert and MTG have more in common beyond just being insultingly ignorant. The very model of morality and family values, amirite?
Yup. Much like Trump and Newt, they cheated on their spouses while trying to ram Christian laws down our throats, and their voters don't fucking care.

Months before Boebert ran for Congress, Martinez got so fed up that she reportedly defaced the lawmakers drivers license with slurs such as demonic whore/fake.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

The issue is she's selfish and a hypocrite.
She wants all the benefits of being an independent modern woman but still expects the man to be held to traditional gender roles, pay for her meals, be willing to risk his life to protect her, etc...
What she desires is toxic.

Well said.
Unfortunately many men are still doormats, but a lot of them are learning better, thus the video complaining about it.

Random advice to men about women related to this. On a first date, assuming you asked her out, always reach for the check. More often then not, she will offer to split. When she does I say, "I asked you out, so I am happy to pay". They almost always then say okay (I think only once did someone insist on splitting and there was no chemistry or second date anyway). Oftentimes, they even say "I'll get the next one", which is great. Whether they said that or not, almost every woman I have been a second date with picked up the check.

tldr: always try to pay on the first date

Random advice to men:
Don't listen to the above.

NEVER go on dinner dates until you are actually in a relationship. Walk in the park, a coffee date, netflix and chill (maybe cook dinner at home, too), whatever... Pick early dates that are cheap or free. If she actually is interested in you, she won't mind. If she's just looking to use you as a foodie call (ie, fraud/theft), she'll balk. It's a great screening tool and will save you a ton of money and time. Also, if the date is going poorly (you're not getting along at all, she's rude/angry/etc..., she looks *nothing* like her profile pic, and so on) it's a hell of a lot less awkward to bail than when you're in a restaurant booth awaiting your entree.

And on another note, "whoever asks the other out should pay" is a total cop out, too. In reality, women almost never ask guys out, they'll just signal their interest and he'll have to be the one to ask. It's basically just another sneaky way of saying, "the man should pay." If he picks a restaurant that's too pricey for you to pay your share, then she can propose another one.

If he gets convicted in all counts:

- Minimum sentence: No minimum
- Maximum sentence: 400 years in prison
Yet another indicator of how fucked our justice system is that the range of prison time possible for someone's list of crimes can range anywhere from 0 years to 400 years.

In a country that wasn't a dystopian shit hole, it'd be more like 10-50 years or something. Which frankly is STILL an extremely large range of outcomes.
