Is anybody really shocked though. Seems par for the course. A lot of workplaces lean conservative or have a lot of conservative workers, and someone else mentioned mockingly that "employers don't want to take on that drama" and they are right, that's how some managers think, that LGBT people will cause drama in the workplace(not necessarily through their actions, but of people reacting to them)

Ignoring that power levels are arbitrary and can fluctuate for plot reasons, constant eternal training would presumably lead to results surpassing the gods of the universe. There seems to be differing potentials, but we've never seen a hard cap on anyone's strength. If I were to fancy to put more thought into it than TTT, I would say that the power levels are relative to the Mortal Level of the universe, and more importantly, the relative power levels of the people around them. That's really the only way to explain why some characters stagnate (Future Gohan and Future Trunks) despite years of fighting.

We have seen hard caps, but they just stop for plot reasons as well. Like Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo basically couldn't get any stronger during the Cell saga and it was made a point of contention that only Gohan could do it.

Diablo 2 had what, a few side quests per act? Making a new character in D2 meant having a friend rush you through Normal, Nightmare, and Hell to endgame, then taking you to the Cow Level or helping you grind Baal for experience until you were level 70+, and this all took less than a day, thus getting you straight to the fun part. In D4, there doesnt seem to be a way to skip that grind, and to max renown youll have to do dozens of side quests and dungeons at least.

Of course creating a ladder character was different, and its been a long time, but I want to say I remember ladder seasons lasting 6-12 months, which is long enough an adult with a full time job could reasonably expect to grind endgame and build the character into a powerhouse, then get tired of it and be ready for a new class before the season ends. 3 month seasons seem to really be for Twitch streamers who stream the game 7 hours a day.

3 months is more than long enough for people with a full time job. It really doesn't take that long to level to at least level 70, and if you get carried you can do it in a few hours. Let's not mistake "having a life" for "playing once a month" . Hell it's only been what... 2 weeks now.. and a lot of "casuals" are at the World Tier 4 capstone dungeon.

the problem with "balancing" for the season, is what happens when the season ends, or you dont play the season? You get told oh well sucks to be you and have to deal with having your damage cut in half, defense cut in half, and the overall nerf of all the stats you spent hours upon hours to roll and grind for on your gear?

gearing up my sorcerer now. rogue is level 100 fully geared, druid is pretty much geared at level 73 just missing Tempest Roar and sorc is at 63, working on the WT 4 build

For me, I ordered 2 boxes of poptarts and i have it at my desk at work. Since funds have been tight this past 2 weeks i've been cutting my lunchtime spending and just eating a poptart and drinking from my water bottle, at first it left me very hungry still but as the days went on it started feeling natural to me and I don't even notice it anymore and it's definitely curbed my appetite.
