That basically every "revelation" in that movie is just publicly available info but for some reason they get all the credit for "breaking" the story. It starts with a Spotlight journalist reading an article in another publication about how the church was covering up abuse and then they just go talk to the people mentioned in that article and learn the same info that has already been available. And then the editor reveals that he just has a list of abusive priests he's been sitting on for 20 years but never bothered to tell anyone about.

People can only care about stuff for so long. It was shocking at first generating lots of concern. And then Ukraine was kicking Putin's ass for a long time which kept it interesting. But now it's kinda just become another nightly news cycle without a lot of change.

Not to say we shouldn't care. Just that human nature gets in the way of worying about stuff on the other side of the world for too long.

Most of those "Live TV" services don't actually have the rights to record live TV, which means you can't restart from the beginning. They love to claim to be a good replacement for cable, but if you truly depend on live TV, they simply can't match up. They take shortcuts, by providing a service that can stream live TV, and later provide streaming options after it has already aired, but they don't pay for the rights to actually have all "live" features.

I am fine with recorded shit. But it's mildly annoying when I turn on a show at 7:45 and get a message that I can either watch just the ending or wait 15 minutes to start over.

YouTube TV doesn't let you start from the beginning if it's live either. I don't get it tbh.

Lol, I'm just wrapping up the Pain arc and it's what inspired me to make this topic. Bc even after the big Pain fight that everyone tunes in for, there's still like 6 episodes of people rambling on about what it means to achieve peace. Just get me to the next fight with the bare minimum context so I know why they're fighting.

I've been following a guide to avoid filler, but I basically just wanna watch the fights but not lose the plot. There are still a shit ton of eps where characters just talk and flashback to shit we saw 1 episode ago and everything moves at a snail's pace.
