A close friend of mine has late stage MS. It's sad because old ladies stop him in the street to tell him we're making "great advancements" in that area but he's already wheelchair bound with an SPC and difficulty swallowing

And now I guess I'm not sleeping tonight. I have my yearly MRI scheduled for Oct 13th. But I've been told since DAY ONE of my MS diagnosis (Dec 18, 2015 - you don't forget days like that) that the damage in my brain is consistent with moderate to severe MS patients.

I keep thinking the day I get told it's over and the disease has moved on to progressive MS is near. Which likely isn't the case. I've been on world class treatment for MS (Lemtrada), but the thought of it progressing keeps fucking GNAWING at me. Like so many lesions in my brain.

It's terrible.

I don't think even Barney the Dinosaur loved these people as kids.

So, I've been inspired to begin my own Trek journey. I admit that TNG was very likely my first exposure to television as a child (such good memories of loving the title sequence with family).

But I wanted to start with TOS, and I went to the ST subreddit for suggestions. They were very helpful, and I particularly liked this comment lol.

Nazi furs are ostracised from furry communities too. I'm on the outskirts of the furry world and when I was using twitter, there were always call outs, denunciation and general disdain for them within the communities.

Fun fact, the furry community isn't as welcoming as it is made out to be. Some can be worse than high schoolers with their cliques and exclusiveness. It's a facade for the most part.

Some can be welcoming, until you have a small disagreement

Few groups deserve that kind of ostracization. But those guys and gulls....well. They're not just wrong, they're stupid.
