I took his walk back as learning early in the year of 2022 and just mixing up the months and on the spot remembering back thinking it was the 2021 time frame even though the new year had started.

It's still a long time to know and not force anybody's hand.

Yeah I dont think theyre completely absolved of any wrongdoing as of yet. Theres still the question of why it took so long in the first place and if they even would have donated it if not for Karl and Muta.
I do think there is more to this story. I watched Karl's update video but haven't watched all of Muta's video.

Karl made it seem like they were accepting donations in the name of charity IRT to the golf club/tournament thing and not reporting all of that as they should have been. Essentially implying/accusing them of taking some/most of the money ostensibly being donated in the name of charity.

It took way too long for this to happen lol.

Also, it is all suspect as hell but at least the money seems to have been still around to donate.

Not sure if they're out of the woodworks yet though in regards to any potential legal trouble.

Will be interesting to see any follow ups

I don't think it's immoral to kill a slaver, but if given the option, I'd prefer to have them locked away for life with no possibility for parole or pardon. Killing a slaver is letting them off easy for the horrors they inflicted; slavers should live long and miserable lives, with their freedom and basic human dignity permanently stripped from them as they themselves had done to others.
Depending on your belief system, killing them sends them to a punishing afterlife.

I've never had issues with waking up, really.

The high price tag is due to the fact you're likely going to be strong armed into selling (involuntarily divesitng yourself of otherwise) them to the United States, Russian, or Chinese government, whoever gets to you first.

An individual geth has only a basic intelligence on par with animal instincts, but in groups they can reason, analyze situations, and make tactical decisions as well as any of the organic races.

To make it simple, they're generally as competent as the geth you encounter in the games.

However they become less competent if one is destroyed, sold off or otherwise far (60 miles/100 km radius) away from the others.

Thats reasonable to repair though. The whole thing blowing up means you gotta start from scratch.

Thats hundreds of billions if not trillions of credits, and damn near a whole planets worth of raw material, and a good ~decade of time which also takes a good deal of military might not fighting rebels to defend the site.
Idk if it's legends or Canon, but I've heard the cost of the Death Star was Quadrillions of credits. As well as being done almost entirely in secret (material deliveries would be exchanged through several unknowing hands before making their way to the Death Star).

Within 3 months I failed to remember I had even played the game.

Like don't ask me anything about it now. All I remember is flashes of places and I know where I could go find a specific codex/log that critiques capitalism that I found funny (don't ask me what it was, I don't remember).

I just... Find it amazing a game can leave like an inverse impact on you. Not positive, not negative. Just... Such a profound absence of impact that that in turn becomes the impact.

Why is the Supreme Court allowed to not do its job?
This is them doing their job.

They agree with the lower courts ruling and found the arguments presented in the lower courts to be (not) compelling enough to take up the case.

If they couldn't say no to cases then every case would go to them and at that point, why even have a judicial system if you can just kick everything up to the Supreme Court.
