So Kammy turns 11 this year, and it looks like age (and chonkiness, probably) are catching up. She's been missing jumps to get on my dad's recliner and other not-very-high jumps. Just... kind of the same feeling as watching mom and dad reach their 60s and 70s.

Their rematch in the same place at the end of the series is, by far, the best part of Shippuden and the 3-4 episode battle has some of the best animation in the series.

The several attempted/interrupted Shadow Clones hand signs is a genuinely cool thing by the animation folks. It's a small touch where the animation and sound design really bring out the moment more than the manga could.

I think that entire exchange is unironically an excellent villain line. Probably the best one in the RE series, though he's really just competing with RE5 Wesker and STAAAAAAARS.

Honestly, OG RE4 Saddler and Leon have excellent chemistry in their exchanges with Leon being the walking cliche and Saddler doing his quasi-MST3K commentary.

The REmakes are fine in being more serious, but I love scenery-chewing campiness. That's probably the worst thing about REmake 4. Leon's one liners are generally fairly good, and he and Ashley have good chemistry. Salazar still has his mojo, but Saddler really took a hit in just hitting the cult leader notes.

Yeah the wording on this bill is way too vague, especially for something very specific and life threatning like surgery. This bill is a nightmare.

Only things you need to know for DRG multiplayer:

Take only one ammo slot, although if you think you are in need, ask if anyone is willing to sacrifice;

If you're wanting to start an event-based objective (extracting back to the pod, dreadnaughts, machine events, anything with a timer that will trigger enemies), ask if everyone is ready first;

Drink the god damn beers I pay for; and

Press V whenever anything happens. Killed a grunt? Rock and stone. Fell to your death? Rock and stone as soon as you get picked up. Standing around and bored? Rock and stone.

You'll run into the occasional jackass, as every game has, but DRG tends to be one of the games where the worst most will do is leave after a wipe without saying a word.

I'm still on Group A (I basically watch one game per day with my meal). Games have been pretty good so far, but the map that has the back door to the natural is some wtf design. Seems really anti-Terran, but I'm washed up so what do I know.

Really enjoyed it, and all the updates/changes made a huge difference to the village fight. I was honestly expecting to follow the same beats that I have been since 2005 and breeze through.
